No It's You by Henry almost feels like insanity.
just to give some context to the song, bts wrote ‘spring day’ inspired by many things (loss, longing for what once was, love, etc.) but it is also widely speculated and believed that the sewol ferry tragedy was a big inspiration. there is a lot of symbolism in both the lyrics and music video that can relate to the tragedy, so, if i’m not mistaken, the song is often played on the anniversary of that day. (i’m not a native korean though, so i could be wrong and please correct me if i am.) i think it’s important for fans and listeners of the song in general to know about this, that way the song isn’t just brushed off as a sad love song. (it can be interpreted that way, of course, and it’s a 100% valid view of the song! music is art, and art should be fluid with meaning to some degree. and i’m not trying to say this video is brushing off the sewol ferry interpretation of the song either, i just feel the need to remind others of what happened whenever media that is tied to it is brought up.) please research into the sewol ferry tragedy if you don’t know about it, but it was truly a horrible incident. please never forget the lives that were taken that day.
