@@ndvpiano Yeah if it's muscle memory bound already and you can do it well enough then it's definitely easier sometimes though keep in mind the intro requires legato which with one hand requires sustain pedal. That's just my thoughts though, I'm a huge fan of Joshua Rifkin who Joplin was said to have a similar playing style to.

Yes! I only realized that about a month after learning the piece, and thought it would be easier to continue playing it the way I’d learned it.
