Hey man. The strap looks great. When are you getting the Ultra specific strap parts? I don’t like how the straps leave a gap and don’t sit flush against the body of the watch as people are using the 45mm connectors. Will you be getting those in? Cheers.
The Ultra uses 45mm Watch connectors, even though the face is 49mm. Apple confirmed they use the same hardware as series 6-8 with the 45mm. As for gaps, they’re pretty minimal but I think they are somewhat expected for aftermarket hardware. The gap on my ultra is maybe 1mm if that, it’s pretty minimal. There isn’t Ultra specific hardware.
@@80ProofGoods nice one man. You’d think that there would be a company making them soon. An imperfection on a £800 watch bothers me to be honest. I’ve tried my other straps on my ultra, it’s not a huge difference but it’s enough to bug me. When they become available I’ll definitely purchase from you. Thanks.
love the band, I have been looking for a new band but can never find one to fit my wrist, do you do custom length? I have to order the XL band from apple
There's really no reason they shouldn't last a lifetime. The leather won't deteriorate and the stitching is solid! I've been wearing one for about 1.5 years now and it showing no signs of slowing down! www.80proofgoods.com/watch-bands-collection
Do you use the hardware in this video for the Apple watch ultra or hardware similar to the other two videos you posted? The lugs are different between the videos. Also how well does the polished silver match the Ultra case? Will you be having Titanium hardware or a satin silver finish in the future?
The lugs I used in the most recent video (the natural minerva one) were lugs that my supplier sent to me incorrectly. I dont use that style, but since I have them Ive been using them. Otherwise, I use the ones seen in this video. Titanium hardware dont currently exist, but once they do I'll look into it. My supplier doesnt stock satin hardware, and I dont see myself switching suppliers. People seem to like the bands I make, and I havent had any complaints on hardware finish. But if they become available in Ultra specific finishes, I'll look into it.
Nice video and nice apple ultra watchband in video. Too bad business customer service is poor. Non responsive to my emails. Ordered this band 12-weeks ago 03/21/24, not yet received. Not received any communication from this business on order status.
The lead time on all orders is a minimum of 8+ week which is listed on the home page and at checkout. The contact form has an automatic email setup providing that information again, and more information about any order delays. You are welcome to cancel your order if you are not interested in waiting or are not satisfied with the transparency.
Just ordered a leather band from this company. I sent an update to my order as your regular Watch Ultra band may be to small for me. Need 8.5 to 9.5 inch band. I have a fat wrist. Never got an email back so please contact.
Nice work but I stopped at 1:22. Never mind... I thought this was going to be a simple tutorial. I don't have any of those tools so based on that, it's cheaper to pay Apple (or you). Thanks, nice work but unrealistic for someone just wanted to make a simple band to save money.
This is just my experience but want to warn others. I bought this band from 80proof Goods 2 months ago and never received it. I’ve emailed their info email several times asking for an update and then finally requested a refund with no response. Im mow disputing the charge with my credit card company so I can get my $99 back. The craftsmanship is so nice but it’s be nicer if I’d gotten what I’d paid for and at least something with the customer service experience.
The minimum estimated wait time on all orders is 8+ weeks which is not only listed on the home page but also agreed to at check out. Very good video, and the end result is very coherent with the self esteem of the maker
Love it aside for the buckle choice i Find it to polished for this piece.
Beautiful band. Would definitely buy one of these.
Looks sharp...a little on the thin side for my taste, but obviously the band can be made thicker. Thank you for posting!
thank you for watching!
It's for dainty Apple watch users
I want one

That looks nice!
Thanks!
Can i order for my ultra 2?
I use it for my leather hat patches, but why don't leather workers use Fiebings leather cement as an adhesive?
This is just amazing🤯
Just ordered this for my Ultra! Awesome craftsmanship. Love the look, can’t wait.
awesome! thanks for the support!
I want to order this ban

Did you ever get it im curious as mine never arrived or did he communicate with me could you let me know please.
Bill you were sent 2 emails with communication as to why there are delays. Check your spam folders if you didn’t see them.
Looks great, I saw your short on Apple Watch ultra cool to see the process.
Stunning bro!
Appreciate it!
I really want to make one of these any tips on how you made the inlay?
I want one for my Ultra watch. Where can I buy please. Looks great. :)😊

I would love to buy this exact band for mine

Select the 49mm Ultra and gunmetal grey options!
Do these have the new 49mm fitting or the 45mm that leave a small gap?
The new Ultra has a 49mm face but is 45mm at the connectors for the band. They use the same hardware as the series 6-8
Great colors, craftsmanship, and video. Much respect

A polished buckle for a sandblasted case untie things.
That’s what’s available right now
Perfect ❤️
Both my brother and I wear our apple watch ultra with a leather band in the office.
But is it an 80Proof Goods band? 👀
Just found your channel and love your work, subscribed!
Thanks for sticking around!
Nice
🙌 K.O.’d!
!!!
Is that the length for M/L?
Yes
Hi. I love the work. How long would these last?

Hi where did you buy your Apple Watch adapters and buckles? Thanks.
Also which model is your Forge Glow ? I’d like to know since you like it. Thanks again.
They’re from Buckleguy! And I have a Basic and a Pro
@@80ProofGoods thanks 🙏🏼
Question Adam what needles are you using for this? I have some needles I use that are saddle stitching and they leave a nasty finish.
John James needles! I don’t remember the size but they’re rated for Vinymo #5 thread that I use
@@80ProofGoods Awesome thanks Adam!
@@80ProofGoods I think they’re size 4? Size 4 is for 0.6 tiger thread isn’t that what Vinymo is?
Do you have any SVG files to purchase?
Do you have the titanium hardware to use to match the Ultra?
No at this point it doesn’t seem to exist with any reputable supplier
Dang! Are you using your bare hands to punch holes!?
I used to haha
I have a question for you roughly how much would you charge to make a custom black leather seat for a 1976-77 Suzuki Rm80
hey Julian! thats far outside my wheelhouse, you'll want to get together with an upholstery shop to take care of that! its a different art
Take my money!

the holes for the thread size seem really big and burnt. just my 2 cents. nice video though

Needs a beefier band for my taste, but well crafted.
What is the color of this band? Auburn, salmon? Thanks
the band is Olmo Minerva, the auburn and salmon are stitching colors.
