This airport is not only the biggest one but the most beautiful in the World, LED lighting all around is so easy to eye and it handles currently 200,000 passengers, and numbers are going to go up as they are building 3rd rd runway will be ready 2020 .it looks like it is not crowded due to its size , because it was design to be that way , you should arrive 2 hours before to enjoy this beauty. you will not see it anywhere again.

Gencturk92 Hi, this is impossible due to much to heavy traffic 3 airports in a so close area will to dangerous. Air traffic is authorized now on Ataturk only for Governments officials aircraft, VIP’s, and some fews Cargo.
@@michaelone3001 istanbul is a big city and the 3 airports are no where near each other: sabiha gokcen is all the way on the asian side of istanbul, ataturk airport was in bakirkoy and new airport is in arnavutkoy. If a small city like London has 5 airports, why not istanbul ?
Gencturk92 As i am coming lots of time to Istanbul, especially to my second town Kadikoy ⚽️💛💙i know where is located the airports.....😃😂-It’s all about Air Space and security for air traffic control. Try to imagine when the 6 runways will be open !!! Can not at this moment compare with Luton, Stansted, and other London’s airport’s. Istanbul traffic air space will be HUGE. And as i repeated before Atatürk as from now on restricted traffic.
👏👏👏Just get the answer of my other day questions about Pharmacy/Eczane. Saw the shop at mins 18.04 good to know before going to hôtel or like me to bconnect to domestic flights. just need to climb after departure level and go back in domestic terminal.....Easy👍👏👍👏😀. many thanks.

There is so much walking from the gate to the immigration/ police check point then who knows how Far the baggage claim area is. After a 13 hour flight it’s hard to walk so far.
John ince that’s good to know.Last time was at the previous airport Ataturk which was smaller but still was a long walk from the gate. Was dreading my next trip there.
Gencturk92 I didn’t say it was big but the distance between one point to another in that airport was a long walk. After 12 hours on a plane from CA to Istanbul it was tiring for me. Coming back there were so many security check points even at the gate. I’m just use to one security gate in San Francisco.
chr04 It all depends if passengers on front are not having problems. On 3 May i was heading to domestic for Izmir, they was only 2 officers and on the right line russians couple being interrogated. So near 10 mins to stand, they did not have a side office to interrogate.....🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 and after 20 minutes of taxiway after the landing it was near limit to reach the domestic gate but i was still on time without running. By the way this airport is not finished so still a lot to do. GIVE THEM SOME TIME..on my return from Izmir departure passports controls took only 2 mins.

If you go to Venice, You will see 4 statues of horses in San Marko square.These are actually copies.The original ones are in the lower building.These statues were brought here by Crusaders from Istanbul.When the Crusaders entered Istanbul, they looted many of those statues.They entered Aya Sofia by horse ,engaged in prostitution, and drank wine.In 1453, Mehmet The Conqueror descended from his horse and entered Aya Sofia and turned it into a mosque.The Byzantine Emperors wanted architects from the Turks.Aya Softa, Turkish architects made repairs at various times he's been able to make it to this day,stay intact.Otherwise it would have collapsed already.
