I'm glad he was honest...I just tried Extreme and was disappointed, mad I bought a full bottle, but it was on sale so I will sell it to get my money back...was considering this one but his review I trust...so its a pass...glad you enjoy it though
When I first tried it in retail store I thought it smelled good for a warm/hot day if your walking in an outside-mall or park. Lately I’ve been going to it more often. I agree that it doesn’t last long BUT if you add an extra couple sprays you will get noticed and it will last long. I would highly rec for those who live in warm areas/summer fragrance.
For 120 in the US it's one of the best smelling to have come out within the last year for a man's parfume definitely a must buy for anyone's collection.I bought mine about 6 months ago Definitely great wear between going out and work.
@willw3736 I bought mine back in April before it hit discounters I feel you tho however the extreme is OP in comparison it's like night and day difference
I am reluctant to try the Bad Boy range. I have been exposed to CH 212 since 2001 through my older brother and I have owned a couple of the 212 flankers as well. It's a very personal House to me and I'm scared of being disappointed.
Greetings from San Diego! Love the channel... I just want to say how cool it was for me to be able to smell this with you. I can go back and do the same with old videos, but it was special to do it with a just released video. If you could make a text post on what you will be reviewing next, people can get their bottles ready for when you drop new vids. Kind of like when people get previews for the next episode of a show that is a weekly airing. I think it could be a cool feature to boost the channel and create anticipation. Hope you're enjoying Mexico!!! I've been down there A-LOT!
I absolutely love Bad Boy Cobolt and Domitille Michalon Bertier is a genius perfumer. I think she hit this spot on and the plum note is so seductive. I wouldn’t change a thing about this fragrance and I’m wearing this today. ❤❤❤
It's not too fresh, but not too sweet either. I have it, and I feel like it works nice in any season. Would be better if it lasted a little longer though.
I just ordered a bottle of this and I’m excited but always nervous when blind buying, but I’ve only had one cologne on a blind buy that was authentic that I didn’t think was for me, I love every scent that is made well, but not every scent is what I would wear personally
Maybe you would like Cobalt elixir better? I recently tried it out and they really ramped up the truffle notes. It reminds me of someone who just stepped out the shower and smoked a cigarette but in a good way. Really dark, heavy earthy but also clean and “blue”. Definitely fits the name of bad boy cobalt IMO.
What would you recommend for hot weather? The scents I like are lavender and juniper berries. I dislike vanilla mainly because I live in a hot country and it can be overwhelming.
I tried it, and to me the "sweetness" is cacao sweetness. Cacao isn't listed as a note, but it is on the OG Bad Boy as a base note. It smells good, but it isn't for me. I don't know if it is because I got used to blue fragrances being cold, dry, smoky, and with a slight touch of Tonka bean at the the end.... Bleu de Chanel, Acqua di Gio.
I’m gonna bleu de Chanel next and that one I’m so excited for, it’s tough choosing what potency to get like edp has best reviews but ya just tough, maybe getting smaller ones of each is best to start
Hi Aaron 👋🏼 I would love you to review Maison Crivelli Oud Maracuja : passion fruit, oud, leather, touch of rose nice balance btwn sweetness tartness & darkness. Nice one
I blind bought this thinking I would love it. Idk but the sweetness of it is just so dull. It kinda reminds me of Y EDP, except Y EDP lasts 10x longer and smells much more lively compared to this.
Nice, informative review as always! Would love to see you review the Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir line at some point. I've heard a lot of people say the EDP is up their with Bleu de Chanel, and that the Parfum is up there with Dior Homme Intense. I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on it as it seems to compete with some highly liked iconic fragrances, while being slightly more affordable.
That's by far my favorite in the line, scent-wise, pitiful performance on my skin though, I'm lucky if it lasts past 5 hours as more than a skin scent. And it's not a "my skin" problem, perfumes tend to last a long time on my skin.
I ended up selling my bottle off as it's quite close in profile to one million lucky but without the hazelnut and honey accords so kind of made it redundant to me as i have 200mls of lucky to get through 😂
@@scangangatrooperbot8926 both are lovely scents but you would be best smelling both and deciding which one you like the most especially as they smell similar but not identical as cobalt is more suited to warmer weather days and lucky is suited better to cooler days and evenings... lucky is discontinued and very hard to find now so take that into consideration as well i liked cobalt but didn't love it and found i rarely wore it so sold it to a work colleague that really liked it.
I have been looking forward to this review!! It smells very similar to invictus platinum which i know you did not like. Do you have a fragrance in your line that is a similar vibe to this? Much love!
Aaron, Thankyou for reviewing Bad Boy Cobalt. Though this frag is sweet, i like it because it is fresh, mouth watering, floral, earthy, woody, and different. This was my fave for a while. I love plum as a note. I also like 1 Million Lucky and it also has plum as a note. Too bad it was discontinued. Prob my new fave is Reflection Man with its powdery orris elegance, followed by YSL L'Homme EDP with its cognac note and smooth freshness. However, these last two dont have plum notes. But, Cobalt is still one of my faves.
Please review Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme EDP and/or Zaharoff Signature Rose' EDP. I looked back through your channel and did not see any Zaharoff reviews, but to be fair, I could have missed them. If anyone else in the comments here knows that he has reviewed one of these, please point me to it. Thank you in advance.
Got a sample of it from a fragrance shop, I'm surprised to see you didn't mention the poor performance. After 2 hours it's not even noticeable on skin, also the smell is very generic, I don't know why this gets so many positive reviews
I was really underwhelmed by this. I sampled it with Victory Elixir and 1 Million Elixir and they were all too similar. The original releases were more interesting to me.
Didn’t like this one. Acted like a edt with no push. Ended up smelling like SWEET fabric softener aromatics Let see what Aaron thinks…. See nothing was whipping guys.
Unrelated but I love the little zoom when you say 'Let's get testing'! Such a neat detail
How is that unrelated? It's part of the video
This is my signature scent, all my mates bought it after I let them sample mine. Was praying you would give your take on it eventually. Thanks Aaron!

I just blind but it and I should get it tomorrow. I wanted something I could wear in Spring and summer and be versatile 🤞

@@dannyphantom6006 oh yea it's nice. I actually like it more now than my first impression. Plum is becoming one of my favorite notes.
This is my favorite of the Bad Boy line. Love the sweetness.
I love the formulation and the way it is done now is well executed.
I absolutely love it for what it is . I own all of the bad boy scents exrreme is my all time favorite

Yes! Its very refreshing from the typical blue fragrances recommended to men for summer

I love the original bad boy I'm a sucker for anything with tonka bean in it.

if you like one million lucky you will like cobalt both quite similar except the lack of a hazelnut and honey note in cobalt.

Hey Aaron, please review Le Male Elixer. Very sweet so would love to know your take
Hey Aaron, reminder for u to make a review of Acqua di parma oud. You will love it ;)
Great upload as usual Aaron. Hey have you tried the new products by Peter of Centauri Perfumes? Please review his new Elixir & his beautiful Mirabai.
Will you review Michael Malul - Jet Black Platinum? I just got a sample and it's good. It's a sweet cinnamon and toffee fragrance.
@@bryanrivera1211
Love the fragrance but it doesn't last whatsoever so I layer it with Ani
I really enjoyed my sample of this, made me expect at least a small influx of plum blues but that didn't happen.
Haven't tried Lucky, I'm not the world's biggest fan of the 1 Million line.
@@Mitchcraft.Have you tried Royal yet? I like it.
Aaron, how are you my brother? Carolina Herrera is from Velenzuela.
Would you rather go with EDP or EDT for this one? Thank you!

Love cobalt. Reminds me of Invictus platinum
I have Cobalt and tried Invictus Platinum the other day and I felt like they smelled exactly the same. Funny nobody compares them
@@lujanjorgelujanppl do compare them.. there's several videos about it
@@lujanjorgelujanNo they don’t. Platinum is more aromatic, green and airy, while Cobalt is a bit darker and sweeter.

Can you do bad boy extreme ? I personally liked it better than edt and cobalt.
Thank you, Aaron.
The dry down is really earthy with the truffle, also projection is good but performance is bad
I haven't had an issue with performance when I spray 1 on my shirt. The rest on my body.

Aaron, I would love if you could do a review of Gris Charnel Extrait by bdk. It's beautifully spicy, woody and sweet.
Let's do this
Have you ever tried the Imaginary Authors line?
My favorite is A City on Fire - smells exactly like clothes after a campfire. Really remarkable to me
That's by far my favorite in the line, scent-wise, pitiful performance on my skin though, I'm lucky if it lasts past 5 hours as more than a skin scent. And it's not a "my skin" problem, perfumes tend to last a long time on my skin.
Exact same here. Love the scent but I get pretty bad performance even though typically I do well with frags longevity and projection.
I ended up selling my bottle off as it's quite close in profile to one million lucky but without the hazelnut and honey accords so kind of made it redundant to me as i have 200mls of lucky to get through 😂
Good advice, I was tempted by BB Cobalt. I have Lucky so will defo give this one a pass.

Top notes pink pepper, lavender, geranium. Where have we heard that before? Please frag designers find a new top note trio. 😖
You got to buy some geranium plants.

Oh no. If it has Bad Boy in the name its surely aimed at 14 year olds. haha
