    I suffer from PTSD. I have also flown R/C items as well as boats and cars for about 40 years. As the PTSD got worse, i gradually stopped doing Anything and everything that made me smile or enjoy myself. I have watched your videos for awhile now. After watching this one, i knocked the dust off a couple mini drones and have actually flown a couple times. Theres just something about watching you guys take R/C to a whole other level that actually makes me smile. Thank you.

      that would be epic...a flotilla of ww big ships with a central carrier.... and a whole series of goals.... land and take off a drone from the carrier...launch a small warbird from the carrier..... and then of course, there needs to be bombing of the ships......though I also like the idea of PT boats launching foam torpedos with like a 1 min run time....(no controls...they just turn ON when launched &..run full ahead till the battery (capacitor?) runs out.. tip it with a small brad or pin so when it gets a good hit , it pokes in and stays to show the hit....)..

    I am going to be honest, I haven't seen a lot of content on this channel that has really "WOWed" me recently. But DAMN this was great..
    background: I've not been that wowed mostly because a lot of it seems to be geared towards stuff I haven't been interested in. I have been watching for years, when you used to make super great beginners videos. I learnt a lot, but not being able to get the foam for years in the UK really hampered my progress. Last year I finally started to make the planes (DIY, not speed builds), and I never got them to fly for more than 10 seconds. Yes, this is me being bad at it, not the planes design. But I know I made mistakes when building the planes, so I rebuilt them. Still didn't fly, and this time I damaged them to a point I need to remake some parts of them again. This summer would have been perfect, but I didn't get a chance with the birth of my first child eating all my time trying to understand how to take care of her. So I was so close to not watching any more videos.
    And then THIS .... THIS VIDEO .... Now I remember why I loved watching your videos... I would love to see a rehash of the old tutorial based videos you guys used to do, but you have kept me interested again ALL OVER AGAIN... Thank you.

  • @didactylos4diddy474
    @didactylos4diddy474 5 років тому

    I'm not at all surprised that it worked. After all Josh in the kayak has negligible weight when floating and all the plane had to overcome was the initial inertia/drag. The original Sea Duck would probably have managed to do that, albeit more slowly. Fun to watch though :)

  • @greyraven2636
    @greyraven2636 5 років тому

    Congratulations guys, you pulled it off, again! As a RC modeller and sea kayaker combining the two is extraordinary to say the least.
