Yea it’s weird how time passes isn’t it and how a song can take u back to a specific time so much you feel like you’re there again. Sitting here jamming Iowa from Slipknot and deftones at 35. Where the fk did the time go. To the younger kids this isn’t even metal. Music during our high school days was fkin awesome I miss the 2000’s. So many cool bands
Music is the only thing that captures a moment in time like that for me. I forget what I ate for dinner, but I remember the exact feeling of hearing a song that I love. It’s kind of wild.
This is what metal and hardcore is right here. If you ever have to explain it to someone who doesn’t understand just show them this. Praise god for Norma Jean and reminding us why we continue to listen 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@johnfinkle1788 yup, Josh Scogin and Jimmy Ryan. two of the greatest vocalists for heavy music...burning bridges and bless the martyr are top tier albums for me
I get such a unique sense of joy seeing bands like Norma Jean, Saosin, Killswitch Engage, etc., sharing the stage with different vocalists from their different eras.
it's been so so so so sooooo long since anything with music has actually gave me goosebumps like the very 1st time listening to this album, this did it. THIS IS SO F***ING AMAZING!!!!
Old guy in the back here. I can remember being in High School seeing these guys in STL at the Creep Crawl when they were still LutiKriss. I don't remember who else was there. Maybe Living Sacrifice or ZAO. I just remember people being totally blown away at the time.
That was either the show or the tour I couldn’t make bc I had been injured during a basketball game (broken tailbone). I was soooooooo bummed my 16 yr old self couldn’t go.
Brother I played that lineup. It was ASTONISHING the level of insanity. Turned around they came and played our little podunk baptists school, SBU, in the student union and they refused to dim the lights. Played it just as hard in that BS setup. Revolutionary.
Cory was right all along, Norma Jean is a collective. People come and go but ever so often an event like this occurs and it's a goddamn beautiful sight.
Ugh I was hoping Josh was going to join up with the ETID boys after the breakup. Greg is probably best case scenario if we couldn't get Josh, but I still maintain that would have been magical
And may I add you guys are freaking awesome! My buddy I work with is one of the videographers and sent me the vid. I'm at my computer rocking it out enthusiastically getting my Shit done!
I just woke up to this gem, I’m laying in bed with tears streaming down my face and a body full of rage… I can literally feel the energy of this show pouring out of every pixel, truly amazing!
This song makes all the fellow musicians on the bill stop what they are doing and become just fans again and rush the stage!!! This song is a fkng juggernaut!!
This is fucking amazing. I’m still waiting for them to come back to Australia as I had tickets in 2020 and bloody batflu hit and understandably, they cancelled.
Takes me from a 37 year old father of 4, back to 16, just sitting in my car getting goosebumps.

No one does live vocals like Josh. His scream is just perfection. So awesome that they did this. Thanks for capturing it.
An OG just like Jimmy Ryan. Him and Scoggin are two of my favs.
Literally zero original members left

"Christ is not a fashion, fleeting away" tatted on my back forever. Love love love NJ and all it's members, Josh at the top of that list.
This is the most iconic thing I have ever seen
This is like the coolest thing I have ever seen as far as reunions go.
Only thing cooler would be if they brought Aaron Weiss onstage to sing his verse as well
@@insanityisawesome97 oh man the place would have erupted into more chaos than it already has but that's what we want
Kinda makes you emotional seeing this
Kinda????? Kinda a lot
I was trying so hard to get up and stage dive when Josh was up there it was nuts

I cannot believe this is even real; feels surreal to see everyone together playing this song.
All those people crowding the stage...THAT is the shit that gives me goosebumps. THAT is what I miss.
Yes, exactly!!!!
I've had goosebumps plenty in my life, but never like this. HOLY FUCK.
josh sounds so raw. it's sick going back and forth with cory
Being on stage for this was insane.
We weren't set up to film yet, but I caught your set. You guys are awesome, new fan!

This along with ETID last performance at warped tour is probably one of the most epic endings in HC.
This album was so important to me when I was a kid
Got me through some of the hardest times of my life..
