- 掛川花鳥園のハシビロコウのふたばさんを見に行きました。最近は天気が変わりやすく、雨だったかと思えば急にピカピカの晴天になったりで、綺麗な光でふたばさんのドアップが撮影できました。それから今回はあの優しいお姉さんが来てくれました。お姉さんは今日はいろいろなミッションがあったのですが、ふたばさんうまく動いてくれるのでしょうか？なかなかうまくいかない様子も見ていてとても素敵でした。
今回も見ていて飽きないフタバさんの魅力を動画にしました。

Futaba is an amazing Shoebill. She is aware of everything around her and seems fine with being the main attraction. The way she interacts with different Staff and different audiences is truly rare imo.

ここ最近、ふたばちゃんは食欲旺盛だと思っていましたが、この日はあまり食欲がなかったようですね。最初、にじますを差し出されてもよそ見をしていたので、食欲ないんだろうなと思っていましたが、それでも一匹は食べましたから、飼育員さんは判断が難しくて大変だと思います。
Hello, Big Bird just cannot get the Bird lady, to add water to the Fish Container, also if you smash the head of the fish, Big Bird, can down it better or it would go easier down Big Bird, neck or throat. The Male Caretaker does, that for Big Bird, smashes the fish head, & has a bucket, of water for Bird bird to drank, to wash it down better. Sorry, just my Observation of watching Caretaker & Big Bird. for 3 1/2 years. It just my opinion. Staff/Crew/Caretaker, do an excellent job. Have a blessed day. CSE

Futaba was suspicious of the caretaker. The fish was too big and the caretaker must have put it in the bucket water. water in half of the bucket.
Is this the same bird? Why does she not bow in greeting? Something's off here.
