Winter Park resident here with 2 little ones. Def planning a staycation early next year. Both Disney and universal offering deals is great. Hope they keep battling for us with better and better offers
Thanks for answering my question ! - being born and raised in Tampa i am excited and curious to see more connection between my old home and new home in orlando .
Love these recap videos as I didnt have time to watch the lengthy live streams. I also like how they are in a playlist so its easy to find. Keep it up!
torlando? orlanpa? tampando? there is a lot of empty space between the two. that either means more trains to connect them, or a lot of people buying up cattle ranches i like the pace of these videos - boom, boom, boom, out
Ken: I would love to see more coverage of eco- and green-focused initiatives. Can you highlight amazing non-profits in the area, making the city great for everyone? Ideas: How does the Orlando area support the Florida Wildlife Corridor? What about Fleet Farming's fantastic work in building native landscapes and food farms in neighborhoods. Also, how is the city doing in expanding the tree canopy to cut down on heat and improve storm impacts? What developers are serious about adding green roofs and living walls to buildings? Also, what about the Orlando Complete Streets initiative. Love to learn the latest on improving Orlando's roads for everyone.
Universal definitely provides a better guest experience - less wait times, more perks, not as "planned" or restricted. That being said I definitely won't be going over the holidays... way too busy at all the parks!
Saw that bit about the memorial launches and started giving my wife big pleading puppy-dog eyes. When that didn’t work, I sang “but his family didn’t like him so they shot him into spaaaaace!” I don’t know why she married me. 😅
Pathetic turnout is the norm for smaller elections. The District 35 General Election is in mid-January. Lake Nona area of Orange County and Osceola County. Then statewide Presidential Primary in March. 2024 is a BIG election year. Even for a HUGE Presidential year it will be around 75%. Should be closer to 90%

One of my favorite things about being a residence is the theme park staycation. Just about as hassle free as they come.
The best bang for your buck is a platinum SeaWorld/Buschgardens Annual pass. Sooo many fantastic perks and benefits!
Been going to sea world a lot more lately!

Nice to listen to Orlando Real with some good news instead of the mostly depressing news that I normally listen to at the start of the day 👍
Dropped this one earlier in the AM to see how the algorithm reacted haha. Thanks for watching bro

Can you make more videos about Groveland?
The $71 room is the standard room not a suite.. and Florida resident price
So Ken, are you still going to do your Orlando Live?
I am! Back this Thursday evening.
Just testing out different formats to see what people enjoy, and what I also enjoy doing

I'm in Orange County and didn't know anything about the elections! Drat!

Are the theme parks really slow? I feel like Disney is packed no matter what people say
Slower than it was. Not slow.
I was curious on the same because every time me or a friend goes, it always seems to be more jam packed than ever.
