This is an absolute disaster for small PI companies. Now instead of eliminating records on the website, I have to hire a court runner to visit up to 27 courts. My current candidate has 10 courts that have to be visited. Baxter has "the first case, at each court, will be $25. Each additional case will be $10." That is going to be hundreds of dollars compared to what was possibly just $1 for a search.
I saw a job posting for a position where they would drive to various court houses and retrieve the DOBs from the clerk’s - sounded a little bit suspicious. What do you think?

I agree completely. PIs should be given access to full dates of birth.

It’s a real thing. Court runners are in demand.
