Dennis: felt your excitement apprehension. Week with either car would really allow one to get in the groove and see how these babies performed. Wonderful episode. Love the prewar cars.

Fantastic Show, I wish my ex-wife had the same talking patterns as the owner.

Loving the music selection on this episode, Thanks for making full episodes available to all of us UA-camrs, much appreciated Dennis... the U.K. says hello.

HOPKIRK by the way, I was a little worried that you might have ended up with a broken wrist attempting to crank those babies into life... funny when you think how good we have it in this modern age when it comes to things made easy... just starting your car back in the day used to be a bit of a chore... to say the least.

Glad to see Dennis try and fail at shifting. ...and stall too! Seriously... ...all these different eclectic vehicles, and he manages to drive each one without trouble? No way! Even I sometimes fail at shifting my classic properly, and I'm the owner! I'm glad he's trying to bring reality back to reality shows.

The truth is, brass era cars, built before the first world war, are just a blast to drive. Sure, they don't go fast for the most part, and it takes time to even get them started, and you need to be able to double clutch, (hey Dennis, I KNOW you know how, why all the gearbox noise?) No seatbelts, sometimes no doors, no front brakes, no cover over you sometimes, but there is nothing like it.......

I once worked as a used car salesman and a dream come true. Pick out a driver for the day or week. Different one all the time. Too often one I liked was sold shortly after.

Those cars looks awesome. I'd like to drive one. Also it would be nice to have one with a modern engine of even fully electric.
I've noticed you were starting that old car wrong. You have to put all your weight to make max torque doing that movement with help of your body. My family and I personally owned 3 cars which could be started with the help of such starter so I had some practice :) At least it was possible to start them if battery becomes discharged 4 some reason.
