I fell in love with this version and have watched it countless times. I love that I can listen to this soundtrack any time I want now. It is so beautiful. :)
As someone who lives on the brink of the Moors I can't tell you how well the music encapsulates the very being of it and the life and love that surround it
@meglover11 You are not the only one in love. :-) I saw a different movie years ago which I HATED cause it was made into a cautionary tale for girls not to date someone the family doesn't like and they didn't understand Heathcliff. No thoughtproces behind his actions, just monster. I did a 180 this week after seeing this version and realised another series I LOVED was based on this story, leave it to me to have a small fictional crush on modern day Heathcliff and not even realise it. LOL
This is when Cathy is wandering the moors calling Heathcliff's name in the rain, and he finds her near delusional in the crags before Edgar and crew come out looking for her. It's the scene that's depicted in the stillframe for the video.
"Lovers" is when Hindley takes Heathcliff out to the barn and whips him during the dinner party with the Linton's, and then he and Cathy sneak out to the moors. "Let Me In" is when Heathcliff is laying in his bed with a candle asking Cathy to haunt him.

Beautiful music. I'm trying to find the melody played when Heathcliffe and Cathy are making out on the moors.
You betcha! "Lay" then is exactly what the word means today! LOL Laura, makes me cry, too!

Thanks a lot Laura. And I also wanted to ask about "Lovers" and "Let Me In Heathcliff", In which episodes exactly the soundtracks are used?
"Lovers" is when Hindley takes Heathcliff out to the barn and whips him during the dinner party with the Linton's, and then he and Cathy sneak out to the moors. "Let Me In" is when Heathcliff is laying in his bed with a candle asking Cathy to haunt him.
Thank you very much, Laura.
Hi Laura, I always liked the music when Cathy is walking up the aisle to marry Linton - was that ever included on the soundtrack?
Ik ben gek op de Bronte zusjes!
