I didn't find out until after she passed away that she was ill and told to stop touring as a consequence. I had my suspicions that she may have been ill when I saw one particular video from 2011 of her falling on stage. I was also under the impression that either because of her blindness her judgement of her surroundings on a dark stage might have been impaired, or that the stage was uneven which can also happen although rare. As dumb as it sounds those were my observations at the time and I'm regretting having made them now. Apologies to any Roxette fans reading this for such grievous errors in judgement.
I live in the 90th generation, I'm grateful to be able to live in an era filled with quality music. Like this Roxette band one of them, this band has filled my childhood. Goodbye Marie, rest in peace. All people in the world will always hear your song.. Damn i'm crying now 😭😭😭
