I love that you love music and art and life enough to see and feel connections between jazz, Bob, Beyoncé and Christmas 2024. The very definition of keeping it real. Loving sports on top of it just makes you a renaissance man. I think this what liberal education was once recognized as promoting. Let’s all have a safe and happy 2025 full of music.
Thank You for the review of “A Complete Unknown” I plan on seeing it soon. I grew up listening to Bob Dylan when his records were first released. Thanks to my brother who was a hippie back in the 1960’s. So in the spirit of Bob Dylan I started watching “No Direction Home” the Bob Dylan documentary movie on dvd. I’ve seen it many times and it’s worth seeing it at least once a year. So much has been written about Bob Dylan we could go on forever discussing his music but Thanks again for the review so far what I’ve heard the reviews are positive….✌🏼
"No Direction Home" is amazing and I've watched it several times over the years and it's a must see for all Dylan fans. Thank you very much for mentioning it ✌️
Nice reviews...Love the BEYONCE 'COUNTRY' DOUBLE LP. I will be seeing A COMPLETE UNKNOWN this week. Btw The Dylan album (bootleg series) that includes most of Bob's and Johnny's collaborations is a revelation. Keep rockN kenny!
''Dylan going electric'' almost 50 years ago ( and refusing to not stop ) .... broke down some walls of conformity, creating a path for example: Beyonce' to go ''Country'' ( Dylan goes to Nashville in 1966)..... among so many other crossover types of music ....IMO
After having reached the point of being done with Hollydwood bioptic films, especially due to their over used tropes and algorithmic similarities, your assessment of the Dylan film has motivated me to go see this thing and give it a fair chance. Thanks for the rec.
I definitely appreciate and understand your opinion and point of view about the movie scene in recent years. Thank you very much for watching my video ✌️
Happy new year Kenny, from chilly Boston. My wife and I enjoy your reviews the whole year through. Here's a new year's question to ponder, that was put to the people by the late great pioneer, Melvin Van Peebles. "How come day breaks and night falls But night falls, and don't (sic) break?"🌅 I was wondering if you were a fan and if you might feature an album of his sometime. Thanks again. All good health and happiness to you and yours, in 2025
Although I am a fan of Van Peebles and his son Mario, I do not have any of his material. Thanks to you and your wife for watching my videos and I hope that you both have a blessed 2025 😊
I didn't get a chance to check out the movie yet, but I did see the Beyonce performance. Even though in the past Michael Jackson & Whitney Houston didn't give a theatrical halftime show, I would put those performances at a 9 while the Beyonce halftime show is rated as a 8 for me. Have a Happy New Year.👍
