What brand baseplates work with the Dawson Precision ice magwell for the Gen 5 Glock 17/45/47/34

- SLR rifle works +5 mag extension, Glock +2 mag extension, Dawson precision mad baseplate. Glock OEM baseplates on the 17 rounds gen 5 mags don't work very well.
Incredibly helpful especially since Dawson discontinued production of their own +5 baseplates.

Which backstrap are you using on your 34? Thanks for the video! I use the large backstrap on my Gen 5 17 and want to buy a Dawson magwell ext too.
@@jsw4178 I also use the large back strap. I'm very pleased with the fit from Dawson. Worth the investment for sure

@@pasqualelibassi5984 no modification needed. If you use a backstrap Dawson will ask for the size you use. Then they'll send a magwell that fits that backstrap. Now if you take the backstrap off, the magwell will not fit so be sure of your sizing.
Will this magwell work is OEM baseplates?
it would be difficult to seat it. the magwell comes with weighted extended replacement baseplates. I would suggest ordering extra extended baseplates as well. The weight on them make the mags drop out a lot quicker
Shield arms mag ex work ?
They may, but for a glock it's best to stick with glock mag which are proven the best.
Which length did you get for the Dawson base plate? +100, +200, or +300?
The largest one. Has more weight on it and clears the magwell better
