Selo, I've go there in early 90's during my high school year to climbed Mount Merbabu. Selo is the base camp for hiker to MT. Merbabu and mt. Sumbing. I saw it develops so much after 30 decades. Boyolali is a regency city near SOLO / SURAKARTA. And Selo is a sub-regency within Boyolali which lies on the Slope of MERAPI volcano (at the north-west side), about 1600 m above see level. That is why the air there is cool. But there is a similar place near YOGYAKARTA, at the north, called KALIURANG. This is also located on the Slope of the same MERAPI volcano, but at the southern side of the volcano, above 800 m above sea level. The temperature in KALIURANG is also cool.

I did that actually, but with ice water, cause the normal cold shower in hot areas of Indonesia is not cold. So I did it in Bali for 6 months..big bucket and then 3-4kg of ice inside. I put the water all over my body after finishing my hot shower. The cold shower took me around 1-2 minutes and man...the feeling after was so amazin 🥰🥰🥰 unluckily while traveling I cannot get my cold shower anymore 🥲 it's so powerful and healthy, and it made my mood better
