This video highlights why I instantly removed my Paperlike after trying it. The screen looks like a car window with bad tint - mottled and muted. Great tips though 👍
I sadly gave up on using an iPad, after 7 years using iPads. I got my first macbook (m1 pro 14in macbook pro) and it made it so hard to go back to some of the clunky multitasking. I am hoping that in a couple of years Apple takes the iPad a bit more seriously and makes using it as a main computer possible. I will continue to watch your videos on the iPadOS updates though!
Great information. Regarding paperlike I’ve used in the past and liked it. However the one for the m4 I did not like at all. Seemed like it was always dirty, light pencil use scathed it and it didn’t feel the same as years past.
My guy, you only covered part of that qr code, meaning it fs still works based on how qr codes work. If you don't want someone 'knowing your Wi-Fi password' for whatever reason, you might wanna completely blur or cut that part out with UA-cam editor.
About 18 months ago, I bought an 11" iPad Pro. Then I bought a Mac Mini, and just last month, an iPhone 16 Pro. Ever since going over to an all-Mac/iPhone environment, the one thing I've noticed about the MacOS environment is its sheer usability compared to Windows and Android phones. So what if you're working within a 'walled-garden' environment, and you don't get quite as many software choices as you might with Windows. The MacOS gives you most of what you need, right out of the box. Rather than using MS Word and Excel and having to pay a monthly fee for it, you get Pages and Numbers, which do 99% of what the Windows apps do, all for free.

🐬I totally forgot about long pressing on apps and widgets to bring up the actions menu. That’s a great time saving feature 👍🏽
Thanks, this was really useful, and despite others commenting that these were announced, I missed many of them.

🐬 Perhaps a video on choosing the best formatting options for an external drive would be helpful.
That's a great idea for a future episode. Stay tuned!
Oh wow, a video where you are not shilling for sub-par products. Well done.
Well, besides paperlike.
Are you talking about sponsors? Cause that's all UA-camrs.
Sheesh. He has to make money and he announces if it’s sponsored. More ethical than most businesses.
Welcome to life, my guy.
Thank you.
🐬Great tips. Can you point me in to a video about how to change the background of my apps? I changed wallpapers and I got the new look and I like it.
The bilingual keyboard messes up my dock. The keyboard indicator (small box) makes my dock disappear.
Thanks. These features are much more useful than AI.
Dolphins 🐬
first tip could've been how to turn off apple intelligence for good..
Your videos have been top notch as of late! Keep up the great work man!
I’m not an NFL fan, I watch football on Saturdays. So, I’ll throw up the “U” instead of a dolphin. 🙌
It’s all about the U! Hopefully Cam Ward goes first overall!

PLEASE take off the PaperLike before you top-down shoot the iPad. It looks ABISMAL in the video with it on. 😢
Almost all of these features were advertised for the iOS and iPadOS 18 releases! No hidden gems here.
