Hi Otto, nice comparison. I will wait for your Insta 360 ace Pro vs DJI action 5 pro camera's comparison to decide which one buy. I think these two are quite similar related to performance Thanks for sharing
Hey Vincent! Yeah I’m planning to compare them as well. Next week it will be the A5 vs the P3. I forgot which one is your IG account. Can you send me a message there?
The Osmo Action 5 Pro's advantage is in low light, but it's not as good as the Osmo Pocket 3. My opinion is that DJI should have waited another year and released a much better camera.
That’s right. The Pocket 3 has way more details and will outperform the Action 5. The advantage of low light with the Action 5 applies if you compare it to other action cameras, maybe with the exception of the Ace Pro
@@teompa Osmo pocket has a real gimbal stabilization. It will always outperform digital stabilization. Even my original Pocket 1 is better than the Action 5 The blur in digital stabilization comes from the fact that in low light slow shutter speed has to be used, which creates motion blur before the image is digitally stabilized. This is also why it works only with 30 FPS, because high frame rate puts a limit on the length of the shutter speed. Gimbal stabilizes the picture even before it hits the sensor, so there will be no motion blur, regardless of the shutter speed. It has no effect on frame rate either. So there is no point in waiting for the next Action for the low light performance, it will never even come close to the Osmo Pocket because it's inherently better for low light by design.
For me it is! Not a big difference either. I think the main complaint about the Action 5 is that the clouds lack texture, so if you care more about the clouds than your subject yeah, ditch the A5
