- The Assyrian style bow draws very smoothly, feels snappy for me and gives a little sound at release, if forward khatra is used.
In this case I prefer side khatra, to avoid noise.
The vibration is absolutely minor.
It’s a very beautiful bow and a pleasure to shoot!

Explanation for processed horn taken from Grózer‘s homepage:
„The bows made by this technology consist of the following materials: the middle layers of wood, the inner layer of processed horn, while the outer layer of pressed sinew plate. These two layers are glued to the wooden plate by modern glue and the glued layer gets a modern fibre strengthening.“

Magnificent video and a nice little orsebow. Ideal for mounted archry and it was successfully used for throwing arrows from a chariot in our Tamiris movie.

That Assyrian style horse bow is becoming my favorite. I like AF. bow that Armin Hirmer review. Since it is 60” long it would be better for 3 finger draw as well as thum ring shooting. My AF Tartar bow @ 53” inches long is very critical upon release. I usually draw it two fingers. Keep smiling & shooting. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have experienced the index finger pinch with the scythian bow and mediterranean draw. This combination isn’t working well.
But short bows work with Slavic or thumb release.
Slavic release is very fast as well, so it’s an excellent idea to draw a short bow the Slavic way 😁👍

That's a beautiful bow and arrow I am Native American "Navajo" our bow and arrow are very short didn't go too far either they only went about 80 yards 150 yards Maximum I started investigating myself and I started making them in our traditional way and asked many questions to my elders I come to find out that we did a lot of stealth hunting and we were stealth warriors too just like our cousins Apaches I say cousins because we shared the same language but anyway I like your videos most of all you are very beautiful 😁 until then walking beauty greetings from the Navajo Nation Coyote Canyon New Mexico

Aren't 1000 spine arrows for like 10 ib child bows? Even if I'm only pulling 35 I use 400 spine arrows 28 inches 330 grain
I vary in spine, length and weight of the arrows.
There is a spine calculator available (in German, link in this answer below), which I use to cut the shafts to the matching length.
The 1000 spine shafts are made for the 18/ 21 lbs bows.
When I had started with archery, I had a 22 lbs RTD bow with 22lbs at 28“. The best arrow for this bow was at that point a 1200 spine arrow.
I like to test different arrow sets to find out, which arrows fit best. The stiffest arrows I have are spine 600 for a 35 lbs bow.

I understand that basically any review is very subjective, but from what I understand Grozer's biocomposite bows are quite different from the modern materials laminated bow. Those apparently build up resistance as you pull them. The biocomposite bows on the other hand are said to have much smoother draw and the build up is negligent....
What is your experience 🤔?
Like I mentioned before, I only own fiberglass bows but definitely want to improve on that...

@@brucenovotny5924 From my experience the wood laminated bows are very soft to draw.
A biocomposite bow with the same poundage feels a little stronger than the wood laminated bow. Feels like a few pounds more, although the scale doesn’t tell you so. 😁
The draw is very smooth for both, but it’s also pending on the length of the bow. Short bows tend to feels snappy.
The weight of the biocomposite bow is usually a little higher than the wood laminated.
Grózer‘s biocomposite bows have a unique look due to the uneven sinew plate surface. The processed horn layer looks fantastic. Benefit of this processed horn is, that you can shoot the bow right after stringing. It’s easy to use, but you should unstring very slowly to avoid damage to the belly layer.
Traditional horn bows usually need a bit of preparation and they tend to ‚work‘ according to humidity and whatsoever 😄
A traditional horn bow is cool to have and to shoot, but takes extra care.
The biocomposite bow makes your life easier and is much more affordable.
The wood laminated bow is also excellent to shoot! If glassfibres are used for stability and protection as a finish layer for example, the bow will keep the shape (nearly) forever.
I have a Recurve-Take-Down bow with glass enhanced limbs and therefore I could keep the bow strung constantly (I don’t do, but my husband keeps his bow strung). This is quite specific, but outlines, what glassfibres can do on a wood laminated bow.
In a nutshell: I love the biocomposite bows and the wood laminated bows (and my two special glassfibre limbs bows from Abu Salman and Numair as well). You can’t go wrong on the biocomposite or wood laminated bows- they are all fantastic!

Now have you ever shot a Segye from Alibow? Armin seems to be quite impressed by the performance, look and the price... as I had already mentioned, I have an offer for that bow....but because it has a small (Alibow style handle) and it's black...I'm still debating whether or not to buy it...it's about one year old and hasn't been shot more than 100 times at most...plus it comes with an older Grozer Hun bow for only extra $50 CDN...
But I really want a Kaya bow...but the store in Malaysia is still closed for Covid-19!!!
Just don't know 😕 🤷 😪 if I should go for that fantastic offer or wait for the Kaya...
Anyway, I still have a great dream of Grozer's biocomposite bow...🤩🤩🤩

I have had a Kaya Windfighter last year and wasn’t satisfied, because the bow got out of shape after 1 shot, after I had practiced with him a few days (~ 1000 shots). Maybe I had a Monday morning version...

I would like to know how much drawweight this bow has with a 32" draw?
I have measured with my rig 31lbs at 32” (39% humidity), but the strength can increase up to 7 lbs more at low humidity. ☺️
