TARPTENT SCARP 1 INTEGRATED GROUNDSHEET MOD Vango Nevis/Cairgorn 200 Groundsheet Take the flat groundsheet end loops and simply feed them through the Scarp 1 clips where the flysheet and inner connect, it’s that simple!
Great video shame about the weather, but no wind a bonus. Thanks for the advice. I've just purchased the same footprint, which is a perfect fit for Scarp 1. I'm going to try it out next week on High Stile. 👏
@@garywelch7969 spot on mate, have to let us know how you get on! It should make a massive difference to the ease and speed of your setup, it has for us 👌 Atb - BR
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the vid and we appreciate the kind words! Just checked out your channel and subbed, going to watch a few tonight 👍 Atb, BR
Been recently enjoying watching wildcamp videos and yours came up as a recommendation. Have to say, I loved the info discussed within the video. As someone who is looking at getting out more, it was great to get some feedback on your cooking set ups, tents, and the guidance on safety aspects when out on the mountains. Fantastic footage and editing as well. Great watch lads. Now subscribed 👍
Thanks you for the sub, it’s much appreciated 👍 Really glad you enjoyed it and found some value in the vid, it’s great for us to receive some feedback. Definitely get get yourself out there, especially this some, some adventures to be had. Take care and all the best - BR
I’ve got the Helm Compact 2 and the Soto Windmaster already but I’m about to go on Amazon to get one or two of the Summit to Eat Veg and Chipotle meals. Trusting your rating here Keith !, Fab video as always guys. Got a few downloaded to watch on my wildcamps later this month. Thanks a million for all the useful tips too.
Two cracking bits of kit there Andy, love both of them. Seen a few people taking wraps as well to make like burritos with the chipotle meals, could be worth a try! Hopefully you enjoy the meals, we thought it was tasty for a dehydrated. Ah great to hear that, have a great camp and take care 👍 BR
now then hey have never watched a vid wot made me smile so much im a scouser myself bro from anfield breck rd to be axact yes i moved up to west lancashire when my mother passed away 2015 and started wild camping and man what a place it is for wild camping my first wild camp was ashhurst beacon and i liked it so much i stayed out for 3 day,s and nights that must be the scoucer in me never do things by halfs but yes got 2 of everythink down to down booties just thinking about my next wild camp now. and i have just bought 2 fleece sleeping bag liners and one of the electric handwarmers hey pop it in your sleeping bag just before you get in sound
Boss that lad we are only round the corner! We’ve never been there but we will defo give that a little look in and put it on the list. Ah nice think we have a hand warmer in a draw somewhere, have to give that it a little go through there winter. Take care mate and get out there 👊
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it. Great choice and you won’t be disappointed. Check out out Stoney Cove vid, we had that out in around 35mph winds and it handled it really well, like it does for the overwhelming majority of UK weather. Any sort of serious wind you’d probably want to start looking at more robust options. All the best - BR
Hi mate, it’s a brilliant and really versatile tent. The mistake we made was purchasing it expecting it to perform like a Hilleberg. After a year of use we can confidently say this is an extremely well rounded tent and can handle terrible weather really well. But if you are going to go chasing crazy weather on a summit then you may want to go straight to a Hilleberg for that. But if you need a tent for virtually 99% of camps then this is a great option. All the best - BR
Hi mate, I took those handles off an jetboil Minimo pot and allied them to the one I used in the vid. Take a look at the GSI outdoors micro gripper as an alternative
Yeah they are handy. You could potentially look at something like heat resistant electrical tape to wrap around, but you’d have to do some research to see if it’s safe and proper

Great video. Can i ask what you added to the pot handles so u dnt burn ur hands? Great idea.
Brilliant video, but please take on board that group camping is not allowed in the Lake District 👍
Is the scarp no good then mate?

Yea i use the grippers now but the insulated handles are definately the best idea.
