Excellent winter fish. Your gear and rigs are pretty much identical to mine for bait fishing for bass. Bait where I am (Hampshire/Solent) would be more mackeral and squid but bunches of slipper limpets can do well, especially after stormy weather. I'm a bit more 'fair weather fisherman' at the moment but that has inspired me to get out and have a go !
Yeah a simple running ledger is ideal for fishing over here. I've never been a fan of loads of components on rigs, there’s too much going on and it's all money at the end of the day. You can't go wrong with a mackerel or squid bait can you. Thanks for checking out the video mate 👍🏼

Thanks mate. Yeah I dig the gaper clams and freeze them down. They’re a great bait for bass. I’m getting low now so will have to get some more on the next big tides.
@@FISHINGWITHCAL I had a look on youtube earlier of a lad using something like a post hole digger and digging down to the clam before getting his hand down the hole to lift them out, he was saying that there's normally more than one close by each other. ua-cam.com/video/Sz4poHnir_A/v-deo.html
