❤ boxed at 18, and now I'm back at 48 and it's the best damn thing I ever did for myself. I googled my old trainer from when I was a kid. He was an amateur champion in his time. He held the record for the oldest amateur champion. He never told me that. He told me " Bobby, u hit so hard Bobby!". Would pick me up in his car for my fights. Would lol pick me up with a six pack of beer and get me out of my parents abusive home. He was a great man! Thank you coach William J. Webb. I miss you and u inspired me more then you will ever know. A dream for me is to train lil kids and teens in boxing. Show them what it feels like to have someone give a sh!t about them.... Get them to have just one win in the ring to feel that champion inside them. 🙏🤘
Respect is a rare thing these days unfortunately. Combat sports is the one thing that makes everyone equal whether that be training hard or getting back up when you've been knocked down. No hard feelings after the fight too 🇭🇰🇬🇧
I'm 31 years old, I started boxing at the age of 28. The best thing that ever happened to me. A boost of self-confidence, great cardio, great new friends. Even men over 50 years of age come and start their adventure. It's never too late. "How much can you know about yourself if you've never had a fight?" Great sport.
Very wise and factual information. I started boxing at age 68 and still compete as an amateur at age 73. It's doable!! The health benefits are through the roof!!
This man is an absolute motivator! I am 56 yrs old and workout everyday, including heavy bag and shadowing three times a week. The years are going by fast. 20 plus years from now, I hope I am still getting after it like Frank.
"Boxing should be clean, and full of integrity and authenticity, and it's not at the moment." It's easy to say "If only we had more people like Frank in the highest levels of boxing, then it would be." Perhaps this is true. Maybe we don't have people like Frank at the top, but I think that we're perhaps more blessed that we have Frank at the bottom, helping those who really need the friendship, community and purpose that boxing provides. Thanks Frank for your decades of work, God bless you.
GOD BLESS this man, most old-timers (even youngsters) are complaining about their health while he's still slugging it out, what an inspiration. He proves that age is just a number, and that you're never too old to learn something new or start training.

My grandfather use to be a boxer, he trained untill his 80 years old, just cancer beated him at the end. He wasn´t exactly a good men but really tried to do his best for his family and hia students. In the funeral crowds of people where there for the last goodbye, some of his students where wearing sporting clothes, I couldn´t believ the kind of respect and honour he achiev it in life.
Im 66 and started boxing training last year. Not only am I in the best shape of my life but it's done wonders for my self-confidence and mental well being. It's never too late.
When listening to him and his passion for boxing brings me back to my childhood. It wasn't perfect, I never had a coach, but the part where he reflected on what a boxing bag was made of hit deep. Rocky the movie taught me simple running, shadow boxing, and push-ups and my school bag was my first gym. Left, right 100 times was my staple, then I watched old boxing clips, and then we had our own champions here in my country, Jimmy Thunder and David Tua, and then for me Oscar Delahoia. Love this clip.
