The most unacceptable part of it is Milwaukee still better than them
It was/is a below average roster that was constructed going into this season and the goal was/is to win the division. When Cubs brass continues to aspire to mediocrity, the goal of sustained organizational success becomes unattainable and obsolete. How many low .200 hitters do we need? Where’s the bullpen? What is truly going going on with are strength and conditioning program?
