Installed fine but under File->Office Account it says
"Activation Required" any thoughts
I was using it and it was working fine. Suddenly, I started getting a message "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated" and now, I can only view but not not use it. What do you suggest please?
Same problem. Perhaps, Microsoft updated something and now you can't use it without buying the license first.

NB: You must first UN-install the trial version of Office 365 including One Note that tends to come pre-installed on new laptops in order for the installation to work.

I had this pre-installed on a new laptop. Today is the last day I can use it, as it will need an activation key tomorrow. If I follow this video guide - judging from the comments below - I have a less than 50% chance of downloading an activated MS Office. My guess is Microsoft have stopped it. I will use Libre Office instead.
If you want to install Office2021 at a specific destination folder and NOT the default folder, where do we modify thing to do so ?

It's asking me to uninstall the previous products and try again. But when I try to uninstall it, I get a warning that all apps and their data will also be deleted. What to be done ?

1.) first factory reset my pc (it was needed for [personal need)
2.) uninstall office form control panel.
3.) Follow exactly as in your video very carefully.
but still it s saying that product is not activated.

Keep in mind that if you installit in German or any other language you need to change the second command because it wont be named configuration but Konfiguration as it is in the case of German.

For licensing it is grayed out on MAK requests product key any suggestions?

Both -- LTSC is a type of distribution with volume licensing for large corporations and government entities that will receive extended support

And when after the official release we get automatically converted or continue with Ltsc without paying
@@krishh_singh You'll never be able to continue with LTSC for any length of time for free. It will expire and you'll get error messages telling you that. You're on borrowed time. All these "how to do it for free" only work for a limited time, and then it expires because the "license" cannot be verified/renewed from a license server.
