I took the z train to Lahti last summer and it was nice 👍🏻 but you should definitely take the o train to kotkan satama cuz a there is a LITERAL museum at the end of the track it’s literally next to the track btw it’s a sea museum called ’kotkan meri museo’ You should film a kind of a vlog about the trip to kotka and the museum trip😎
The captions said this is manufactured by CAF and Alstom. While this is not wrong, the design is in fact from before Alstom bought Fiat Ferroviaria, so this is really a Fiat design. It shares some components with Sm3 Pendolinos (which also are from Fiat Ferroviaria era). Fiat then contracted CAF to do the actual assembly, since Fiat themselves didn't have the capacity for it. After a while, Alstom bought Fiat Ferroviaria, and so they got their name on these, even when in reality there's nothing "Alstom" on these. To add more confusion, Alstom retroactively put these under the Coradia family, while as far as I know, Sm4's have basically nothing common with other Coradias.
Nice train I see alot of 3+2 seating on commuter trains I don't like it because it does look odd and takes up loads of space (on smaller gauges) I like that most of finland land is forested
On the Z train its a flat fare of 11.70 euro. On intercity trains it varies depending on demand and time of booking in the range from 6.70 to 18.00 euro
@@DVRoshan first you need to go with P-train 3 stops to Tikkurila/Dickursby, then you need to wait there for The Z-train to arrive (I am Not sure that on what platform the Z-train comes to, because there are like 10 platforms there, but on The waiting hall, there are displays showing it), whilst you are on The Z-train, it is just 4 stops to Lahti
@@DVRoshanyou can also take some of the Intercity (IC) trains from Tikkurila/Dickursby to Lahti, and I think Lahti is the next stop after Tikkurila on an Oulu-bound or Joensuu-bound IC train, though as mentioned above, prices can vary

Thanks for the clarification, i did not know it was this complicated with regards to its build and design roots
Nice to se commutertrains from Finland. They look soo different from ours in Sweden 😎

In finland the track gauge is actually wider than the standard
The travel card terminal stopped working (or was already failing) at 3:43 :D
I think its because we left the HSL ticket area there :-)
@@Simon-Andersenmee too
Like from Croatia :-)
