@@vast634 I think what the commenter meant was that the term "Hapa" is originated from Hawaii. According to demographics, descendants of settlers from Japan, Philippines, and China are Hapas. Therefore, if you're a local resident in Hawaii with mixed parents with a slight hint of Hawaiian (if your family members happened to be native Hawaiian), then you are indeed a Hapa.
Then again, the term exists and can be used outside of Hawaii if one isn't Hawaiian

I guess the point of focus is the 'imbalance'. For example, I think what the video is trying to say is that most Asian/White mixtures are Asian women and white men, the other way around is less seen (although not that much less I should say). Having an imbalance can always be a point of discussion.

Of course what you're saying is that Asian women can be considered attractive by white men, but white women aren't considered closely as attractive by Asian men. Vice versa is theoretically not implied. But if the vice versa of WMAF is true, that Asian girls don't mind getting a white boyfriend or husband as much as Asian men, then it could be a problem. That means that for Asians, women have a much wider range of choices than men when it comes to relationships, which increases the chance of imbalances, which is what those videos and their supporters have been talking about all the time.
