The government is not proactive at all. They should never have waited this long before the situation deteriorated to this level.

This is where the governors of other states need to lend a helping hand, by building an enabling environment in their respective states for traders to thrive. There is a limit to how many people Lagos can accommodate.

Just look at the new railway infrastructure that was built, what these hooligans have turned into. What type of people are these?

For Christ sake can people move back to their state!! People have to start holding governor accountable instead of running down to Lagos and making it filthy. This has to stop.

I have mentioned before that the rail lines should be fenced off.

Public authorities should strictly prohibit vendors from occupying railways and causing chaos, and strictly enforce the law. These passers-by and vendors clearly lack public facility safety education and the ethics of maintaining infrastructure.

Why can't the Lagos government build stores and give soft loans to traders. The Nigerian government is a nuisance.

Government should fence the entire rail track with wire mesh that will prevent the traders from displaying their wares on the rail track, this will resolve the perennial problem of these market women along the rail tracks.

During the last election, the parties and their candidates argued a lot about structure. Not one mention was made about how to elevate the consciousness of the most important structure which is the people of Nigeria. People do what they do because no one is taking the time to teach them how to adopt a cleaner alternate lifestyle. Money by any possible means seems to be the mantra of the highest and lowest, the poorest and the richest. This is just like the wild American west from the era of slavery. The American civil war that saw women working in ammunition factories and young men conscripted seem to have given birth to some cohesive civility that lasted until the current erosion of the American society caused of course by unbridled capitalistic ideology. This same ideology adopted by Nigerian leadership is the cause of Nigeria's intellectual depletion. There is therefore a need for a national Renaissance as preached by people like Sowore, with a bold leadership exemplified by people like Peter Obi.

The trainlines have to be blocked...improvement needs to be done on the trainway. They need a market...not a taking away of goods.
