      Shame that such Indians all over the world will be the worst affected by the virus. People fail to treat such doctors right. Even tho in India if u look irregardless of the poverty and insufficient healthcare we are able to fight the virus and oh should you have heard the voice of 1.5 billion Indians in the support of our healthcare workers. Our PM made it possible. And yet people are dumb enough to compare him with Trump. I think all the Indian doctors should come back. Anyways the U.S is doomed. Hope they survive this.

      It's not just a shortage, but people are somehow stealing the masks out of hospitals. I went there for clinicals two weeks ago, and the docs and RNs were complaining that someone stole every box of N95 masks in the hospital. This was before the lockdown, and they didn't have the masks under cameras, so they don't know who it was.
      It pissed me off, because what kind of person does that?

    • @amykc
      @amykc 4 роки тому +5

      Panther God The same thing happened in our only hospital in town in Hawaii back when the Volcano erupted in 2018 and now with the pandemic, all masks are locked up and require request and approval to get one. I’m upset that this happens in other hospitals too. It’s selfish and inconsiderate too.

      lisa gibson If this virus was preventable than it wouldn't be a pandemic. Your country leader/government is trying their best to prevent this virus from further spreading just like every other countries in the world right now. If you believe this is your President fault than over 170 countries/ territories have also fail preventing this pandemic. This is like saying doctors have failed since their job is literally saving people lives but they're dying. Blaming your country government for this tragedy won't help anyone but only add on to people frustration and stress.

    • @acatwithinternet5635

      @@toberumble Trump was literally on TV not taking it seriously and didn't do anything for months, despite experts warning him. He failed, but for some reason people are defending his incompetence.
      Also, pointing it out, wakes people up to who they should vote for next term. Trump and a certain number of mayors are not looking good right now, because they failed to act. I'm hoping people get a grip over themselves and pick who's best for the job instead of party.

    • @toberumble
      @toberumble 4 роки тому

      It's almost impossible to prevent this virus from spreading hence a pandemic especially America that's not only has a large population but also money to travel for pleasure or business. Failed to act than almost every single country that is affect by this virus also failed to act and are incompetent. Experts warn that this is going to happen no matter what since too much time have past. The first case of this virus was trace all the way back in November and Wuhan was quarantine on the last week of January. No matter who you put as President would inevitably failed to prevent this virus unless they close down their border and canceled all travel from early December. Hell WHO declare the corona virus as a pandemic on March.

    • @acatwithinternet5635
      @acatwithinternet5635 4 роки тому +12

      @@toberumble no, it's not inevitable. Go look at Taiwan. They controlled the virus and aren't in any trouble, because they acted as soon as China reported cases. This could have been prevented, but nooooo, all the other world leaders have their thumbs up their ass.
      Btw, Taiwan has been testing for the virus long before it got to the us.
      Also, for those of you that don't know, and are going to try to says shit, Taiwan is right next to China and still has this thing under control.
      How sad is that? Everyone else is miles away. What the hell is everyone else's excuse? I'm sick of everyone making excuses for our incompetent leaders. They need to accept responsibility.

    • @babybirdhome
      @babybirdhome 4 роки тому +9

      Panther God So does South Korea and Singapore (have it under control without widespread impact), and Singapore is a global hub for the whole world's economy, with people from all over the world coming and going every day.
      Johnny Bio, No this wasn't preventable, but the scope and scale of its damage was absolutely manageable. Look at the disparity between the number of people infected or dead from this illness from one place to another and ask yourself why it varies by so much? I'm very certain that the virus doesn't know about borders or politics, so the reason is something more inherent to the places where those differences exist. In the US's case, it is fair and appropriate to blame our President for this in our country, because he utterly failed in his duties as President on this from top to bottom. This is a President who, as a civilian, has had a life filled with catastrophic failure after failure, and who built his name into a brand where he convinced people that his failure was a success. He's a con artist who's always been a con artist and is now a con artist in charge of a country where one of his cons has now actually begun costing real citizens their lives. That cannot be overlooked or ignored, the stakes are far too high!

      There was armor before the middle ages. There has been armor all the way to 3 000 BC. The only time in human history when use of armor declined was when guns became more available. The least armored century was probably the 1800s, though armor was used by some units and armed forces even then.

      @@ShovelChef armor has been making a steady come back for quite some time. Most 1st world countries today equip their soldiers with at least a frag vest. Solid plates of armor are also used once again. Armor is the reason why sub-machine guns and shotguns have become obsolite for the time being. A good assault rifle, such as the powerful RK-95, can still rip through most protective vests.

My daughter is a nurse and I am in lockdown with my 93 year old mother who is suffering from dementia. We have caregivers during the day and I just retired from teaching at the age of 70 (January 31) and so this whole thing is quite depressing. This video was just what the doctor ordered.
