Thanks, because at this BR most common SPAAs are IR SPAA, and these SPAAs can't lock choppers more than 3km distance with their missiles, also 9.7 Mi-8 has Shturm fast missile with 5km range, try to use your missiles at their max range and you will survive more.

Hey Toshio, if you are asking about the layout from controls wizard then mine is Keyboard and mouse (advanced), and I control the aircraft with WASD. Thanks a lot :)

@@Hunter_i86 I figured this out after maybe a year: Missile manual controls were set to Shift+(WASD), so it was disabling WASD in flight controls when in targeting view. Nonsense. Fixed it by removing the missile manual controls for helicopter.

you can dodge it quite easily when you're going directly at it but rear aspect is almost impossible, most planes also just drain all their energy in a single pull

My least favorite part of war thunder is how low they rank their russian releases just so they can have fun ruining matches. A 9.7 heli with AAM and 5km rocket tracking. The first aam american heli is at 10.3, the first russian heli with the same igla aam is in 10.7, the first british aam heli is 10.3 and the first chinese aam heli is 10.0. Tell me that ain't biased.
