I don't understand Korean but now I think we know why she abandoned her child. This is a very sad story. Her own family sold her. So she got ride of her daughter to don't let her suffer from such a wrong life. I think this is why she asked her daughter that day she left her: "Why don't you cry or ask me, why I do leave you?!" A sentence like this.
