About Formata:
Lead. Fight. Win.
Gain resources, build your own army to lead it into a battle!
Create your own strategy, survive in difficult conditions and then break through enemy's close formation to ruin their castles and reach the sole leadership on the map.
Do not forget about tactics when the fight is on! Good location and right formation will bring you an important victory, which immediately translates into an advantage for the whole war.
Catch your enemies by surprise, until they take a position and build a shield wall, provoke them to mess up the ranks, surround them and destroy completely! Catch up with those who run away and kill them all, because if you do not, they will return back with a sword in a hand!
Alternatively you can use your archers as your main power. While your strong infantry hold back the onslaught in a narrow passageway, a hail of arrows will turn the enemy hordes into heaps of corpses.

Baron you need to click on the island and it will automatically board the island
Yes, you're right. Also you can control the ship with arrow keys, this way it won't unmoor.
They unmoor only if you click in strategy mode right on the edge of the sea. This way they think they want to sail to sea, but the ship is moored and than they command to unmoor.
We'll fix it on the next update to make it easier to control.

More customization, stronger AI, Cavalry, Siege weapons, raising of the amount of units to 99, Global map with nations ( World Conquer), different eras (Age of Powder, Middle Ages, Prehistoric (why not) and so on. Many possibilities. The game is rather interesting.

I think there should be stages with different ages so like one stage is the Medieval age and other at the gold age. They also would have like different units like calvary and maybe armor and different boats that have like cannons and stuff, it would be very cool!
I'd add weapons, armor, shields, and alot more units.
And i'd add the battle of thermopylae.
They should add the British faction that gets an advantage in the water by having the ability to add a second type of ship or improving the current one
If I was the developer I would add gun men and they would have muskets for the guns
I would add a new upgrade called guardian. It would cost 750 and what it does is when every time you capture a point. One unit spawns that guards the point with his life with full levels and full weaponry even without the weapon upgrades and can boost your troops like the standards however you can’t control him in anyway and he’s alone guarding the point so he would put up a fight and delay the enemy and stop small squads. He won’t fill your unit cap and he regenerates health overtime but he won’t spawn if you already have existing captured points before you got the upgrade. He would also weaken your enemy’s forces when every time they try to cap your points. He would be a good upgrade but it’s costly for fairness.

It would be cool to see siege equipment (ladders, catapults, trebuchets etc) Defensive units (ballistas, towers, etc) and maybe some more naval combat stuff. It would also be cool to have a capable army (hundreds strong.) It would make tactical attacks far more interesting.
I would add Calvary and siege weapons. It would be cool to have buildable defenses

i would add Egyptian warriors(if there are not already in the game) as it would keep in theme with the bronze ages and they would also wield the Egyptian curved swords.

A small detail that I noticed is that the sheilds on the sides of the ship have the kind of sheild that faction begins with.
They must add the Great ottomans

The Ottoman empire was from the Middle Ages but, this game is set in a period of time before the Middle Ages wich is called Antiquity so the ottomans did not exist yet.
They should remodel the resource centers to like a Mana fountain and let you build fortifications around it

Im gonna let my imagination run for a minute.
Imagine Calvary troops. Customisable troops that you can make look like Romans, Persians, Egyptians.
Ballistas. Catapults
Special Units like Centurions,
Praefecti
Iron turtle formations, customisable formations.
The possibilities are endless

I would make it so that you could buy a research upgrade to go a age through time, so eventually you would get to the year 5000 and that would be cool.

Zivadog152 it is a cool idea but it would make the sessions very very long
D4SALAD yes but you could still destroy the brain while they’re still in the primitive stage, so unless you waited to be in the future stage when destroying the brain you could destroy it really quickly, before the get to a higher stage.

they should add land vehicles and mounted units such as wagons, charriots, basic cavalry, etc. there is a lot of potential for this game and would also love to see defense units + forts. keep making great vids baron! ooooooooooo and if possible greek fire

You could get a ground force to charge the beach, and then you could the ship sideways to provide archer support.

I would like to see the Huns be put in because they were masters of horse-back archery. And it would awesome to see boiling oil at the gate entrances which you could have engineers dump on attackers, for defense proposes, and also have fire arrows for Archers to shoot the boiling oil and/or other ship and set them on fire.(which many empire games do not have you could be the first. And Baron could please give my suggestions to the developer of this game.

One thing I would change of this game if I was a dev is I would increase the pop cap. Because I can see how annoying and un-realistic it would be to try and dominate everything with 20 or 25 soldiers. At-least 50 max.
