Vestion the green and yellow arrow looking thing on the back of the car. It’s a “Wakaba” leaf, meant to be worn on the vehicle of a first year driver. Cars displaying this mean that the driver is new, thus inexperienced, and so other drivers may pay more attention to a high risk individual, and possibly even have more patience. If someone cuts you off, your first impressing is that they’re a reckless inconsiderate asshole. This review is incredibly accurate. The Beat is a great backroad car that is tons of fun even though you aren't going very fast. I've had a Beat and a Cappuccino, and they are both great but very different to drive. The Beat is better handling (though mine also had coilovers, where my Cappo does not), and the Beat sounds better...but the Cap has a hard top, more configurations, is much quicker in a straight line (still not fast), is a better highway cruiser and is more practical (with the roof up). It's hard to say which I like better.
The revs and how close you are to the ground make it seem like you are going fast all the time. Anyways.. boost this thing to 100hp and it probably would be as fast as a modern economy car... But feel like a Corvette!

MTREC E07A engines were exclusively available on two kei-cars, Beat and Today (An econobox of the same era, but only on sport-oriented trim). E07A itself was seen on almost every Honda Kei-cars/trucks/vans at the time. MTREC on Beat was making 64 PS according to Honda, which was hitting the kei-car voluntary restraint output limitation, and no other kei-car since then achieved similar output with NA engine. On Today it was detuned to 58 PS, but some people prefer the Today’s body since they are lighter and more rigid than Beat, so they use Beat engine and Today body to get ahead of other turbocharged kei-cars when racing against them.. 7:50 - This means when you need to change the timing belt, you need a ton of torque to get the harmonic balancer off. Save yourself the trouble of starting with a cheater bar and go get a compressor and a impact gun that can do at least 500ft-lbs.
To me, the original Kei car is the classic mini. And somehow, it is still "better" in some way. An early generation classic mini weights around 620 kgs so it is lighter. It has Moulton cones suspension, so you have variable spring rate if you want to take passengers. And yes you can fit 4 persons in there if you are courageous. The engine is one of the most modified engine of all time and you can make 90 bhp out of it with a very tiny budget (with the 1275 as a base). With a suitable FD you can cruise at 140-150 km/h and you can top around 175, which is enough to satisfy your strange addiction to danger.

I'm not saying fish can rap.
I'm just saying 'Look it up!'"
Cheers. You deserve the like for that.
I’m getting one of these at the end of this year.. legit.
Roman should have been at the AMA's last night with that outro. Honestly can't believe it took you 5 years to get to that song, but it was worth the wait.
The week I buy gran turismo sport is the week you made this video *ain't that ironic*
I’ve had the privilege of driving one of these absolute buckets of pure joy and it did. It did change my life and nothing will ever be the same.
20 years from now a young kid is gonna think
He’s cool
He’s cool today 👍🏾
The answers to the questions part had me weakkk
Fr I don't even know what the question for the Starbucks one would even be hahahahah
Looks like it's from the early 2000s
"$8000" oh man this car DOUBLE JUMPED in price since 2020
Dude, $1.99 for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy? That's a bargain!
“It’s a ‘91 Civic that got hit by a Mario Kart lightning bolt”
BRUH!😂😂😂😂😂😂
When I see this car, I have a sudden urge to listen to Hollywood Heights by Mitch Murder, and I don't know why.
every single Honda review is THIS CAR IS SO FUN TO DRIVE HHHGGNN
Cant blame you tho. they are awesome.
Aaaaaagggghhhh
All this video will do is raise the price of Beats, just as I almost had the money to buy it as my first car
Sad lad hours.
Thanks for the UA-cam video. I have been in Japan for 15 years. Currently my beats don't work. I want to restore it. If you don't move it for a while, the gasoline tank will rust and the pump will break! It is under repair. It's a very fun car, but it's a very, very slow car. I was in the car and lost to the car my grandmother was driving! ?? But driving is even more fun! Safe in a sense! In the future, I would like to change the computer and change the ignition system to make it easier to ride. Honda will start reselling parts. Japan is cheap so please look for it! Such a new car can no longer be sold!
Honda Beat: the Official car of "I don't need a jack to Change the Tires! All I need is a cinderblock to kick under it once I've lifted it by hand."
Also, the official car of: "Who needs an enclosed trailer to ferry it between car shows? Just get a Suburban and some 2x6 to use as loading ramps."
A car so small that the only anime graphics you're allowed to put on it are Chibi style.
In the 1960's Curtis Mathes built TV/Stereo system combinations bigger than that car!
This guy was giving out rides at the RCR Pennsylvania car meet in July. That thing was ridiculously fun to ride in
Please tell me you listened to “We Got The Beat” during the whole drive?
Redline - The Car. You sir, are a man of exquisite taste
I want one with the Hayabusa engine
A Cappuccino with a Hayabusa swap would be better.
It's been done. Doesn't work well at all. You'd run into major cooling & transmission problems.
@@YegoYTP Smarter to build it or swap for a similar generation 4. Unless you have wheelbarrows full of money.
i want one with a s1000rr m engine
Hayabusa is not worth... Mine has a kswap
I got to meet Tony Airlines at the Car Meet. When he brought that Honda Beat he let me sit in it.... except I couldn't even fit in it. 😂😂😂😂😂
4:58 that clutch is BEAT 🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂
No, that's how they all sound on a full-throttle change-up. New clutch or otherwise.
Dude you drive an ugly ass mustang, stfu. You're the one who is BEAT.
I don't get why is it beat?
Lol rhd feels with the questions right there
It's from Japan,
It's a Toyota Cresta,
Would've been the Cressida if we hadn't stopped getting them in 92,
Only took 3 days to get used to being 3 feet to the right,
No I'm on the right side,
Yes it's rear wheel drive,
I don't use drive thrus.
Slap a k20c in that thing and it would be an actual spaceship
The first ever K-swap Beat was completed not too long ago....haven't seen much on it after the initial burnout video...but it seems it can be done.
It's my car... I don't post much about it lol but I will
Loki Levethian k20c type r beat?
306HP is enough for swift death in a beat.
It was this video that introduced me to the Beat. I sought, I found, I bought. This review is 100% true.
Oh hey my dad had one .
..
..
Except for it wasn't a Honda
...
.
It was a belt
That " Big Bad Voodoo Daddy" CD. WE DONT DESERVE TONY!!!!!!! 4:13
even better in 4:24 behind the shifter SLAM IT INTO GEAR 'oo Daddy'
"Airal" Atom. gg
But a gorgeous little go-kart isn't it.
I fell in love with this car as soon as I saw it in a drag racing game.
RCR on Joe Rogan when?
Love Roman doing Bittersweet Symphony lol
That guy is saying he's a beginner driver.
With the green and yellow sticker ^^
@@onivlasbrony7432 Yes, that shield in Japan means beginner driver.
Checking the oil monthly?
Must be the best damn Honda in the world for oil consumption, I'm sold.
Every Honda I've seen wants you to top it up every week if you are lucky.
What the-, no views and 25 likes!, YT is drunk...again......
I hope people enjoy these videos as much as I do. I’m dying of cancer but these videos have kept me laughing my ass off.
This video is about 40% of why I own a Beat. And the statements made in this video, I can verify, are 100% true. It is absolute perfection and utter silliness.
Also, the MTREC EO7A engine was also on the JA4 Honda Today (sorry, commenting as I'm watching the video).
Honda Acty, too!
@@Tony_Airlines It has a E07A but not MTREC...
