Absolutely AWESOME bike for the money. Solid and fast. And decent range for commuting. Love it. Used to take me 75 minutes to get to work. Now I can get there in 45 minutes on this superb bike.

A quick word on battery maintenance that will double the life of your extremely expensive lithium-ion battery… It may come as a surprise to some, that these batteries do not possess a charge memory, and that fully charging and discharging them is the very worst thing you can do… At full charge, gradual plating of the negative terminals occurs, greatly reducing battery life. Therefore charge only to 80-90% and try to avoid total discharge. (A £5 electric timer will facilitate this, without having to invest in expensive dedicated chargers). Having said this, about once a month allow the battery to discharge and then charge fully, as this re-balances the cells, and resets the digital memory, thus maintaining the accuracy of the devices power gauge. For storage, charge to no more than ½ capacity and keep away from excess heat or cold.

Try turning off the power with the key and back on when you change the settings, also make sure you are on assist level 3 then try the throttle. If you need anymore help Facebook is a good place to message me on my page....

Hey man, ADO answered my messages. By the way, they are very responsive.
I'll make a video about this thing, it's very difficult to explain without images, but it's very easy to get it done. We need to switch to hybrid mode using the throttle, brake, and settings.

Please do a full range TEST. I've never done one pure throttle. I've got 31 miles out of it with pedal assist and full throttle on a single charge. Which is plenty for me . If it even does 18 miles pure throttle. That will be AWESOME.

Hi also I've figured out how to get 5 levels of speed. And they go up in 3 mile increments from 9mph to 21mph. If you are interested. I will give you the P CODE settings I am using on my A20.
The first 3 are PEDAL ASSIST. 4 and 5 are throttle ONLY. And they range in speed as follows.
P1=09MPH
P2=12MPH
P3=15MPH
P4=18MPH
P5=21MPH.
I set the unlocked speed to 36km to achieve this. Plus I can get cruise control. After holding the throttle down. For about 8 seconds. In P4 or P5. It's really awesome. But you have to know the right P CODES to achieve this. I've heard most people are struggling to program their A20 computers to get the most out of this awesome bike. I might even make a video myself to show people how it's done.
I made my 21 mile commute yesterday averaging 13 miles an hour. Top speed 21.2 miles an hour. And I charged my mobile phone from 0 to 100 at the same time. And when I reached my destination. I still had 35 to 40% battery left. This bike is amazing.

@@EnglishTurbines I think your probably get it in time. Note there was alittle rust on some of the bolts quite quickly I did ride it in the rain a few times other then that it felt solid. So I would put alittle extra effort on maintenance just try and keep it dry when stored and apply alittle rust protection if you notice any rust starting to form, of course avoiding the obvious like the brakes don't want any oil on those 😅

Sounds like it will be good in hands. Yeah it's a really fun bike my favourite thing is how many heads it turns when you go past without peddling, also it looks way better then alot of electric bikes you see with huge batteries outside the frame. Ride comfort was better then alot of standard bikes I've ridden, the seat and seat suspension were very good. My concern with reviewing most products is how long they will last long term and on an expensive item like this even more so... Thanks
When you're freewheeling downhill does the motor act as a dynamo and put power back into the battery?
No regenerative breaking, I think there may be on some newer models that are coming out.
@@TheDShow It would be great if you could charge the battery just by pedalling when stationary. Pedal generator and exercise bike in one!

How is the bike after 1 year?
I only used it for a couple of months then I never used it, so someone else had it.

@@TheDShow I believe ADO has change something in the controller. I have tried all the steps above and the throtle isn't working. No matter what it just don't. If you or anybody else know how to get around this issue, pls share with us!

Just bought one of there website hope it gets delivered ok just find out they use Tufnell as they don’t have a good reputation
Please be aware that this bike is highly illegal. in UK and EU Unless registered as a moped. Why it does not conform to pedelec specifications. Why? It has a twist throttle that can accelerate the bike up to 25kph without any peddle assist. As a report you should point out this important fact. Be warned the police are heavily fining for non compliance .
1. Requires a driving licence.
2. Requires a moped, motorbike insurance. Bike insurance will not suffice.
3. Cannot be used on bikeways. Only on roads where registered.
4. Requires a motorbike approved helmet.
Do not buy unless prepared to register for reasons stated.
When it is locked it is
NOT illegal but when unlocked it technically becomes illegal. I highly doubt the police will be stopping every owner of these bikes to check if they are locked or not when there are real crimes out there to tackling.
Nobody cares. In the UK all the food delivery people are riding around on bikes wayyyy more powerful than this and the police don't care.
don't buy it it's been four months and still they have not fixed my bike now they won't answer my emails
