You guys do the RIGHT STUFF. It starts with STANDING. Then the guy hits the ground. Fuck BJJ. No one fights sliding on their ass, bro. I've been watching you for years and I learn stuff every time I tune in. Keep up the good work. BTW, I've got background in small circle jiu jitsu from Alameda, California, Wally's backyard. Your stuff is sound and modern and fluid. I like it.
Great content, brother, keep it up) I am not much knowledged in the science of judo, so is No Gi Judo more of a modern version of Judo? I myself mostly practiced Caucasian wrestling and seeing this kind of slick, fast, untraditional throws look like they are more practical in modern combat sports like MMA for example.
No Gi Judo is just Judo without the Jacket Bro, the Judo Takedown arsenal is huge but it can be Hard to get them if there is nothing for grip like in BJJ or Wrestling but if you adapt the Throws and sweeps to No Gi then you will be able to get them.
@@kxy964 Thanks for the answer, brother. It's just for someone like me who trained judo only in my childhood for one year seeing some of the No Gi Judo vids it seemed like a totally different way to approach judo. Which is why I thought initially that it is a modern version of judo.
@@jnymd43 You‘re welcome Bro, I think in the next few years No Gi Judo will develop much more 👍🏼 Judo is a great sport I also had like a short experience but I can say you get strong especially grip strength and the techniques are great. Also many people don’t know that you have also ground fighting in Judo wich is called ne waza. I will start over in judo insaAllah and complement it with wrestling or sambo !

Mutual benefit; everyone typically wants to help everyone, even if it's the person that just threw you several times in randori.

Nice video! Landed one of these in my first sparring at my new muay thai gym. It was then that I learned that hip throws were not allowed in MT 😂
