- This video is for my Girl Scout Gold Award. I wanted to be able to share stories from those that have been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that causes your body to attack healthy tissue. There are 4 interviews featured. Thank you for supporting me.

Thank you for letting us know what your Mum and others go through everyday. When she told me that she had Lupus, I had the textbook definition yet it doesn't touch on what people actually go through. You're amazing.

Alyssa, the time and effort you put into making this video shows through from beginning to end. You have the participants an outlet to share their story and educate others about how devastating this disease is for so many. I know this illness has heavily impacted your family and for that I’m so sorry. Your awareness of the need for others to share their story is paramount in opening eyes of the general public about how impactful this condition is. There needs to be more attention given to finding a cure. Way to go kiddo, this is awesome!
Thank you for sharing and spreading awareness about lupus! I have SLE too and it’s definitely a struggle….I was diagnosed at 19 and I’m 27 going on 28 and it’s been a long bumpy road but I’m hanging in there. I also have other chronic illnesses that make things extremely hard… But having a good support group at home and online has made things a little better…
I have a UA-cam and Instagram where I spread awareness about my different chronic illnesses… I think it’s important to spread awareness so more people can become aware. Thanks for sharing this!
