Hey Clive you should keep pinning my comments since youtube keeps deleting my replies since most of these drunken losers are a bunch of thin skinned cowards that are afraid of criticism.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a well known Cornish cider production plant. Their testing lab uses a Sodastream unit just like yours, and they use the same carbonating technique that you do, with the short blasts. This is done, I believe, to sample the flavour of products before committing to a full production run. Let no-one tell you this is for fun; it's scientific research.
Man, I used to drink a lot of Jack back in the day, been sober 8 and a half years now, but you cracked that bottle and I could actually smell it. That was wild, it made me gag a little.

I once got "mint" flavored soda.... First sip was interesting but after that I could only feel like I was drinking Listerine and started to make me sick, I couldn't finish half a glass
So Funny! Thanks Big Clive. My dad was a big JD (Jack Daniels) fan. Once when I was pretty young, we were on a trip in the car from Chicago and for some reason going down South. Since we were passing through Tennessee, we had to make a stop at the JD distillery. Very interesting. There was a place where there were people expertly charring the wood that would go into making the casks. Another where the stills were actively distilling the sour mash and of course another place where the distillate was put into the finished casks. That was interesting because the casks were then put in various levels on rails and positioned so that each barrel would roll into it's spot with the bung hole facing upwards very accurately. The roller had to know how to start each barrel in sequence. Funny fact. It's made in a dry county meaning No Alcohol consumption allowed. Visitors would ride in a wagon across the county line so they could have a tasting. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of JD. I'm more of a Jim Beam Bourbon guy.
Father was a JD person too... Around COVID, stopped in to pick some up for pops and didn't have it... Got a bottle of very expensive Dickles. I liked it, was easy to drink but Father wouldn't touch it... Not enough punch in the gut and wasn't his Jack D!!!!

JD was the only gift I returned last xmas.
I unwrapped it and handed it straight back to the giver.
I used to tell people I drank Scotch if I'd done a favour for them and they asked, too many bought me a bottle of Bells so I stopped.
I'll have to watch popcorn Sutton reruns after this.
never stop doing you bro.
Clive your be pleased to know I picked up a couple of bottles of Glasgow's finest while I was at Buckfast Abbey in Devon last week.
Good job.
Nice to see the Dickies overalls are still around. We used to wear them in the '90s. One of the guys wore his to a fancy dress party as a constructions worker and said they were a chick magnet due to the "Dickies" name!
Jack Daniels is nothing like Scotch Whiskey; it's is a completely different beast. I admittedly watched this with great anticipation waiting for your reaction.
What happens if you hold a flame over the carbonated booze? Or light it directly? Does the carbonation affect the flame?
Drank my share in high-school but these days I know there is better stuff to drink.
I would never bother buy Jack Daniels, if I were living in Scotland. As an American, I think that you've got the best whisky in the world, over there in Scotland
did someone spike my drink? What the heck did I just watch? lol good stuff.
