Gamla Stan, Wandering Around the Old Town • Stockholm ☘️

And here we are with some information on one of the most beautiful areas of Stockholm, a must-visit if you are touring this beautiful city.
I am talking about Gamla Stan, literally the old town. This is where Stockholm was born during the Middle Ages, although the buildings you see date back to the 16th and 17th centuries, it is located on an island and legend has it that thousands of years ago Sigtuna, the capital of the time, was having problems with armed gangs attacking the city, so the chief took a log, dug it out, filled it with gold and set it afloat. After a few days he landed on the island where Gamla Stan is today and founded the new capital of Sweden.
However if you happen to be in this place you can visit many beautiful Museums and historical attractions like the Royal Palace, The Stockholm Cathedral, The Medieval Museum, The Jewish Museum, The Nobel Prize Museum, and The Royal Armoury. And if you want you can partecipate also to a guided tour, my favourite was definitely th Stockholm Ghost Walk for obvious reasons.

Pensa sono appena stato in IS 15 giorni fa (4-5 giorni pochi ma buoni), dunque se non erro come già ti dissi essa la visitai 25 anni e mezzo (1997 contemporaneamente alla DK che non se ci sei stato) 😳😮😱😍🙂😉

Ricordo che mancava un Luna park ovvero il Grona Lund (Piccola imitazione del Tivoli Garden della capitale danese) inaugurato 5 anni dopo ovvero nel 2002 😳😯
