Hello Emra. I just finished listening to your talk and wanted to ler you know how very much I enjoyed it. We had similar experiences as youths,in our quet for teuth and meaning for our being.Our adulthoods were very different unfortunately for me. Yours is a story of dedication to Divine Science and all it includes. I still struggle to heal but I know it is possible as I have experienced it from time to time. I hope I will find my "grain of mustard seed" as you have. Thank you. 😊😇

Watched on Smart TV volume on 70, I usually watch tv channels volume 12-28.
The main thing is I enjoyed the talk and sharing her re-found experience that God is Love. Church as community is something missing in my life and something I've hungered for. I've watched many of these Christian Science lectures, and this is one of the best.
Maybe the best. Ms. Farkas has a way about her, like water finding its own level.
There are some similarities between the ideas at the heart of Christian Science,
and the ideas at the heart of Taoism. God's natural presence is all around us, like an ocean.
All we have to do is let go of our ideas, the things which separate us from God,
and allow God's presence to enter into our lives. By allowing that to happen, we become
part of that ocean. I remember my first experience of being in the water. I was terrified.
My father supported me gently, and I stopped thrashing around, and just floated.
Then I noticed that his arms had moved from under me, and I was still supported
by the salty Atlantic. Such a wonderful experience.

I went to this lecture today. The talk was poignant, clearly communicated and meaningful.
The thoughts presented were cathartic. Grateful for the church community that has been there for me, a lost sheep.
The biblical Church (Greek; ecclesia-thanks to Emra for the meaning) is still alive and well today in its primitive form, because God is and ever will be the only Truth.

About the Lecturer's mention of "news". For the last 5 decades, or longer, the news has but one idea. Thatt being: an individual victimizes another individual, a group or a government. A group victimizes an individual, a group or a government, or a government victimizes an individual, a group or a government. If I spent time watching an hours worth of news, I would then have to spend 20 hours in prayer. Some you you no doubt do better than I about that.
It is wise to be selective in what we watch and read. The Christian Science Monitor does it best to provide fair and accurate reporting, with spiritual insight.
