This was the best story of any game I’ve ever played in my life. Arthur Morgan never really existed.. but he made me a better man here in the real world.

I think this shouldn't be a TV series because the story is pretty much completed and sure they can do next prequel but a TV series won't give you the bond to the characters like the game did

My gf expierience is a really good example. She liked to play domino in the camp and she had always the epic battle against Hosea. She just played only with him somehow. She always won but before the Saint Denis bank robbery they played the last time and Hosea won for the first and the last time. Then the bank job went wrong and I just remember that she called me the same day and I heard how she could barely say any word. She was crying and the only thing she could say was "Hosea".
I just doubt that any TV series can engage the player so deep as a videogame, because its often so that you have your uniqe expierience and thats what makes a real bond to the characters. You don't have any timer, you can just enjoy the time spent with these characters.
Personaly I enjoyed the time with the charactes and overall with the games as much as with my real friends. The characters are just that well written, a TV series would balance on a thin line and likely to mess up the reputation of the series in my opinion.
If its going to be one ill pray to lord make huge jackman portray arthur. Old man logan is perfectly close to arthur.
On my last play through just before the last mission with Arthur I went to Lenny and Hosea's grave had a whiskey and a moment of silence before Arthur died.

When i played rdr2 for the first time I was kinda lost because I never played rdr1..at first I didn't like it but when I gave it an opportunity man.. I played alot, but I had low honor before everything.. But since certain events with the greys killing sean I had a feeling something bad could happen and at that point I was fond of Arthur. I kept playing until I came back from guarma and Arthur was diagnosed with tuberculosis.. Then I began doing good things I even did the sisters mission.. Well I got the good ending going with John even tho I began with really low honor.. I can just say this game is incredible

Rdr2 was my first rockstar game in general, it was my first game in the red dead series too. To me, Arthur’s death was way more impactful because I didn’t know it was gonna happen (I had no idea that Arthur would be diagnosed, had no idea that John got out safe, had no idea of the story in general)

Arthur taught me to be a good person ever since I finished rdr2 I've been a better person giving to the homeless and helping people in need
Me too. That little fortune teller, blind old man, I ran into him every single day I played the game. (Real life days). Always lent him a dollar, I feel like Arthur as a character really did make us all better. He was so smart and all together just a perfect man. I miss him so much and I’m still heartbroken he died.

Went back to the PS4 pro yesterday to start a new game again. Put down 300 hours and haven't played since February. This game blows me away and i hope to god it comes to PC
Bro how have rockstar made such a real game I felt so alive when I played as Arthur and I felt like I was in a different world which was amazing especially because it helped me with my depression and to get through the hard times and rockstar are just amazing at making games rip Arthur
I'm just starting my third playthrough as I don't want my time with Arthur to end. A fictional character has reached out through the screen and grabbed my heart.
I cant believe a videogame character has touched my heart so much.
I dont know if i ever be able to play another game like this, because RDR2 is just a masterpiece.
I finished the game a week ago and still start crying when i see Arthur or hear the soundtrack.
Arthur Morgan was my favorite character of the entire game and he still is after he died he was my hero and now I'm sad that I can't play as him anymore on RDR2 anymore

I feel like we could play as Lyle Morgan, Arthur’s dad. We could play his story and then when the time comes for the epilogue and such, we play as a young Arthur. We could see when he was essentially adopted by Dutch and Hosea and him growing up

If they ever release a "story DLC" for RDR2 I would like to have Arthur in it.
I have literally replayed RDR2 eight times now and no matter what ANYONE says it never stops getting exiting when and awesome when the WHOLE gang marches up to the Brathwaite manor and it never stops being beautiful as the gang rides down the snowy grizzlies while the Mountain Hymn song plays. It never stops being wholesome when Hosea, Dutch, and Arthur fish then sing while rowing back to Clemens Cove. And it sure as shit never stops being sad when Arthur has his final ride and tells Dutch he gave him all he had....

I never thought a game could have such an effect I just replayed the story again. It gets to you. Like John and Arthur its not real but still.
I love how this points out that while Arthur has his moments of going over a bit like most of the gang but he’s the only one that see’s the consequences for it aswell as Charles while everyone else didn’t see it and it got them reckless and then killed at one point or another while Arthur died atleast realizing his recklessness

I do not know how to say this but arthur Morgan thought me so much even tough he is not real. 60+ hours and I do not want to imagine how it would feel to lose a real friend when the death of a vr character cuts so deep in my life. I am very thankful for your tribute and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. He is the best video game character ever created and through your tribute my memories will be always there.

Arthur taught me no matter how bad you are there is always hope at changing who you are on the inside, With the right friends and love you can overcome any Low point....I cry everytime i play this game or watch a tribute.
