- This was awesome !! A day after agreeing to return to Celtic, the top man Brendan Rodgers joined us on Golf Life to tell us all about it as well as his love for the game and how he approaches it. It was unreal to listen to the man. What a bloke.

As a fellow "cack-handed" Golfer & Celtic supporter I'm absolutely delighted to have a World-Class manager in Brendan Rodgers back at Celtic. With the exception of the Covid season we are living in a blockbuster era, punctuated by the evolution and success on & off the pitch.
Next goal is some tangible improvement in Europe & Brendan's the outstanding candidate to deliver that 🍀⭐🍀

Absolute gent! I’m not sure I could go with best managers of our generation though….. Maybe one of the better UK managers, but some way off the likes of Pep, Klopp, Ancelloti, Mourinho, Conte, Ferguson, Wenger etc.

Celtic was nothing special. It was a 1 team league with absolutely zero competition. Celtic could of played all season with no manager and still won every trophy
Minute rangers got competitive after climbing back through the leagues he jumped ship to leicester

I am a Celtic fan and really enjoyed this video. Pretty cool seeing Brendan play golf. Thought his overall game was good but needs some work on his putting! But I know from personal experience how tough it is to judge the speed of greens and undulations. I thought there were some terrific questions asked of Brendan and loved his responses. Looking forward to the coming season with Brendan at the helm. Enjoyed reading the comments by Liverpool fans on here which shows how well respected Brendan is as a manager and deservedly so.

He was a great manager for us at Swansea - got us up to the PL and I wish him nothing but the best.

I can't keep my eyes on Brendan's crazy reverse grip....I've literally never seen anything like it in the 25 years playing golf.
Fairly common in Ireland, hurley grip that many former hurlers such as Brendan use. He played GAA as a youngster.
There’s a couple of guys that are on the brink of the PGA tour that reverse grip
This is how my dad plays, always blew my mind. He was a good player in his younger years too.

Had to replay that first drive over and over again to check I wasn't seeing things
I played hurling a lot as a kid. I also did the same when I started playing golf. Could hit it far but no control. Took a year to feel any comfort from switching the grip. Gained accuracy but lost distance. Made me chuckle when I seen the first tee shot!
