Eagle Flight is one of my favorite, maybe my favorite, of all their songs! Tho think a better title would have been Like Eagles, lol. Deen is a mfn' beast no matter the lineup❤

Doug Aldrich is simply the guitarist that can fit in any hard rock and heavy metal band. He is both badass and classy dude, rarely. He's got his own style and signature (last 2 WS albums sound like DOUG ALDRICH) and he also looks great on stage, he's got attitude. More than anybody needs. Go Doug!
Totally agree. I have been blessed to watch him up close and personal at to guitar clinic's and he just blows my mind. Such a nice guy too.

Deen Castronovo has got to be one of the best drummers in the world. And what a brilliant voice!! And Doug Aldrich is simply superb!! What a fantastic combo, with Jack Blades adding his class to a truly awesome band.
i think his singing is what sets him apart , nobody can get that Close to Steve Perry for journey except for Deen , there are many good drummers but very few that can sing Mother , Father so well
Nick menza, nicko mcbrain, gar samuelson, dirk verbeuren to name a few are far better and more distinctive....

This is like the perfect cross between Journey, and Nightranger, with a little bit of Whitesnake thrown in for spice... with predictably fantastic results. Deen's explosive drumming, crossed with Jack's "dead-on" bass riffs, and spectacular arranging and song-writing talents, and finally, Doug's blistering guitar work. Really, REALLY good stuff. This should be played on "classic" rock stations in heavy rotation. Don't know why it hasn't been. Not letting this get on the air, is a CRIME.

What do you want to invent in this day and age? EVERYTHING has been played. Everything got faster, heavier and more brutal to the point of of being odious. Downtuned guitars THANKFULLY are not "trendy" anymore. Everything that could be pushed to the limit, has been done to the point of ridiculousness.
These guys play from the gut, delivering quality material. Sing-along songs, with firey drumming and killer guitar solos. What the fuck else can you want? Cos as much as the hard rock scene is more or less thriving today, it's no lie most of it sucks.
Congrats guys, here's to at least 2 or three more albums with the same winning formula. Thank you very much.

Deen is one of the biggest influences in my drumming career. He is without a doubt one of the best Rock drummers in the world

As a Musician myself, I have to say these guys have a great sound and great vocals. This is the kind of Music that needs to be mainstreaming, Music you can understand and that has heart to it.

No, this isn't the most creative thing Doug Aldrich has ever been involved in. HOWEVER, that doesn't make it any lesser in quality. The music knows what it is. It's fun, upbeat, melodic, and packs a hard rock punch in doing so. I think it does a pretty good job at being simple fun music.
Doug is awesome .. I have most of his work by accident because I listen to Dio, Whitesnake Hurricane etc..But he has never been creative/ground breaking or has done memorable leads or riffs. He can copy styles and play other bands music .Just enough to get your fix but very far from being great.
hyutyub I disagree.. if you listen to the riffs he's done for Love Will Set You Free and Out of Luck with Whitesnake, those sound pretty memorable to me.

Deen did what he did and he did admit to it. I don't stand for violence at all but I think he deserves another chance. I've never meant him but he seems to be such a down to earth person and humble.

Man what a shame this project just disappeared, was really looking forward to these guys playing out. Hope Deen cleans up and gets back to playing again. Don't know what his future will be with Journey or this band but this album is still a good rocking effort.
Looking forward to the whole album. There isn't enough music around with Deen singing lead. Outdated? I suppose you could call it that. I call it melodic rock, and I miss it. "Modern" music has been bland for 20 years, and I'm glad Frontiers Music is recording new stuff by all these great artists. Maybe I'm just showing my age...
