I've been saved by God, but i had to give up myself to find him. i had to be broken for him to put me back together with his Grace. I know i can never fail on earth because I chose Jesus.
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. “I’v been saved, goodbye to the sinner, I’m held by the father above, no more shame, for I’m out of the desert and drowned in the power of love, amazing grace, my soul set free, Ain’t no grave got a hold on me, I’m born again, born again, washed by the water, I’m clean” Its so amazing what Jesus did for us and his forgiveness is undying and has NO limits, we tend to think that some sins are so much worse than others and that for them we don’t deserve to be forgiven, especially when we continue to do them over and over again, it says in Hebrews 8:12 “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” No more he says, all we have to do is repent and for some reason that can be so hard, but he’s a gracious God and he will forgive. Despite what we think, God sees all sin equal, he forgives us when we lie, so why would he forgive us for some sin and not others? And in John 1:9 it says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” This song is so uplifting! At one point he says “You could have run away, leaving me there in my shame, leaving me fighting my pain, but you made a better way” God is always here and will help us through all our struggles and hardship, it may not feel like it and things might not heal when we want it to but it will in Gods time. He loves every single one of us no matter what we have done, we are his masterpieces (Ephesians 2:10) and he will never forsake us! 1 Corinthians 10:13 says “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
