Fran! Congratulations on the weight loss, looking good my man!
2:30 Eric you rock star
Thanks for more awesome content RPM! You guys consistently upload great content more than any other channel, the regular subscribers really appreciate it! Fran, lookin better all the time! Thanks again to all you guys!
Watched back some of the years of content after finding the shop and channel. The banter is unmatched. Love the work keep it up RPM.
Matt’s right. Dinosaurs weren’t real.
Damn francis…we could hardly notice ya bud!! Keep up the good work bro you look great!!!
Y’all usually do standard or lower compression on the ss’s
End gap on rings is opened up because of thermal heat expansion of the rings. More heat = more expansion and when the ring ends touch they move to the point of least resistance which is usually up, breaking the ring land.
Not because of “pressure relief”.
Plus the gaps are top secret, unless you read the paperwork with the rings, lol.
That is one beautiful Camaro! Exactly how I would want it if I owned one. Nice job all around!
Meh... Too flashy for my taste but I respect the work that went into it.
Nice work, guys are on top form 👍👍👍👍
Okay not sure if this is the place to go for this but here goes nothing
I’m looking to get into a heads/cam c6 z06 soon. Im wondering if any of you kind gentlemen would be able to maybe point me in the right direction and what things to look for whilst browsing. Any advice is welcome and appreciated thank you all!
Thank you RPM for the top tier content🤙🏽💯
Look for one with our package or buy a stock one and let us fix it
@@RaceProvenMotorsports are there any dealers you guys work closely with?
love the content so please keep them coming! :D
Fran looking good brother!!!!! Btw 562hp on N.A. good god what’s that 634 crank.
Looking good Fran 👊🏼
What a sweet Camaro ! great video guys
Hey RPM I have a question. I was looking for a c6 z06 and found a 07 z06 but the thing about this z06 is that it has a LME 416 stroker with a YSI blower and was wondering if it’s worth buying because the guy is only selling for 32k. I like the car but idk if i should pull the trigger on it.
Id love to hear anyone’s thoughts about if I should or shouldn’t get it thanks guys.
These Guys are Awesome what i would not give to send my V there just missing one thing $$$$$$$ Lol
Matt saying "Shawty" has to be the greatest thing I've heard today.
Does anyone knows what brand those wheels are and specs?
Was thinking the same thing, look sick
6GR
GTO video soon?
number one
what was the name of that dealership that fran tunes for that sells modded cars?
Murray Chevrolet
@@RaceProvenMotorsports thank you!
Just because you have money doesn't mean you have taste "The Car".
Car looks good. Hood not my taste... but car is damn nice. Not like every other 6th grn on the street.
To each their own, owner keeps his ride clean which is nice.
Just because you have a keyboard doesnt mean intelligent words will be typed. "The computer" or "The Phone"
😂
All the reflective heat shield under the hood… just keeps the heat IN the engine bay.
Epic
LT1 caught up and passed the coyote platform
@@high-rise8505 The pistons are just weak in the LT1, the LS9 is older and can handle more power on the stock pistons, all the little differences between the LS' and LT's make for some big differences. You want an N/A monster like the Coyote and you get yourself a LS7
I’m pretty sure relieving pressure isn’t why we gap the rings. That’s some bad explanation Harry.
Beautiful camaro, I follow him IG. ❤️
I don’t understand how you guys are installing aftermarket pistons and rods without any balancing being done. Not to mention any sort of journal clearance checking. Just ring gap and go huh?
Google LT piston and rod combo.
It’s the same weight as factory. Hence the words “drop in”
It’s a drop in set up designed to do just that .
@@RaceProvenMotorsports Even if the rods and pistons are the same as factory weight, they still vary in weight between each other. I have never seen any piston or rod weighing done on this channel. What about rod bearing clearances? Unless you’re reusing the old rod bearing, clearances should be checked. Not to mention the clearances most certainly need to be checked if you’re using aftermarket rod bolts, regardless of whether the bearing is reused or not.
And btw, “drop in” doesn’t insinuate the same weight as factory. Many aftermarket parts that are designated as “drop in” don’t weight the same as what they’re replacing lmfao
@@alanhill5513 just did. Texas speed is retarded. Their “drop in” piston and rod combo includes aftermarket rod bolts and new bearings, which would require having the rod bearing clearances checked. It also doesn’t mention having to match heaviest piston to lightest rod, lightest rod to heaviest piston, etc. aka basic rod and piston balancing which should be done every time an aftermarket bottom end is installed. Regardless if it says “dRoP iN” or not😂😂😂
Really?
Gapping rings for the cylinder pressure to escape? WTF?
Hopefully Matt's knowledge of engine building is more advanced than his knowledge of underdrive pulleys?!
Dude seems angry and like he doesn't want to be there.
The way he makes fun of the people's cars who spend their hard earned money there....if they didn't want to take their cars to cars n coffee then he wouldn't have a job.
That was a funny moememnt
Fran bud you better stop with the weight lose your watch isn’t fitting…. JK congratulations
The secret gap is 69 over. Idk what I’m saying
Oooof. The owner of this car has more money than taste......
If only Camaros were good looking cars....lol!
