I really love this arc so much. Yuki being a red herring seeming at first bad news then turning out to be simply a skilled cinnamon bun, Mem unexpectedly being the third idol member after a subtle presence right at the end, Akane's... just everything. The serious in story moments, real world lessons, and entertaining throughout. It's so good.
What I appreciate in this episode is that Aqua is upfront with her and doesn't lead her on. I also really love Mem-cho and her whole backstory. This is literally what she's always wanted.❤
Regarding your conversation about Aqua and Ruby at the end, they each inherited one star from their mother. Ruby is the Love and Aqua is the Lies. Ruby's star glows when she wants to do something earnestly and with love and Aqua's star gets black when he's about to do something unethical.
The stars represents lies/ability to lie, thats why only people who act like someone else (lies) or people who actually have secrets have them (Aqua, Ruby, Ai and Akane), thats why when Kana outshone everyone she had more like galaxy eyes and not stars (in the same way as Ai).
@@alejandromonteromendez35 That doesn't really make sense, since even when they tell the truth they have the stars in their eyes. And those stars may change colors depending on whether or not they're lying, and what the lies are about. But those stars are there regardless.
@@alejandromonteromendez35In the manga they reveal what the star eyes mean, well the black ones. Not sure about the white ones. Also kind of like how y'all brought up Ai. I realize that the show compares Kana and Akane to Ai a lot, but with Akane she pretends to be Ai while kana is more naturally like her. Kana outshine her peers most of the time, goes through a similar moment to Ai (which also had the same animation to Ai for the scene) and is the only girl that aqua has confirmed to be a fan of other than Ai.
Mem feeling lonely when the show ends makes sense when you learn she once dreamt of being an idol. She really wants to be part of a group and have that comradery over being solo.
@@Urielthalas I know; didn't want to use it cause many have misconceptions about it. Could be said that what Akane did is close, but not entirely 'method acting'.
I am so fast! My favorite moment from this episode. 10:45 Aqua is planning to use Akane for his revenge and he isn't aware that by kissing her he also hurts Kana's feelings. 😢 Great reaction!😃 Edit: To me stars are indications of let's call it a "star quality". ✨ The larger those stars in eyes become, the bigger acting capabilities are presented. Also the color of stars are telling to us viewers what are the intensions of characters who have those eyes. White stars are showing good intensions, while black stars- bad.
@@adon3h1 its really true bro... In the latest chapter of manga(161), Aqua completely accepted that all this time he wanted to respond towards kana's feelings towards him and he truly loved her.
@@Sujal-j5o Romantic love isn't the only kind of love. In that regard, Aqua's love for Ruby is even greater. The star like in eyes was just symbolic for persona
Kana is Aqua's only friend around his age so it's only natural Aqua goes to Kana for a real conversation without ulterior motive
I also think of it as him having known her before Ai's death back when he was still happy.
Another thing to add is that he gets along really well with Mem-cho because she's the oldest friend he has so she relates to his "mental" age

personally i feel star represents the confidence but sparkle represents the love and passionate towards something and Ai had both.

We can only see the true genuine chill aqua when he is around kana 😇😊

We’ll go straight into it after S1, no delay or change in schedule

Kana is best girl, you filthy heathen!
But you right, Mem is great.
So glad you will continue with the S2 , personally I think this show is more enjoyable when you bing it all together instead week to week
So, what's it going to be: Oshi No Ko, Apothecary Diaries, Frieren. These three shows are all top 10 shows.
1:00 are you thinking of method acting
Another peak episode
