I have a feeling the old captain was hired by the At Attin supervisor to destroy any records of it's location in exchange for a life in paradise. Then the supervisor used At Attin's turrets and droids to take out the captain when he returned.
@@ruthbennett7563 @tracycieply9737 If it's his mother or father, then explain the hundreds of years of dirt, grass and trees that grew on the upside-down pirate ship the kids ended up on?
I never thought that I would love this series aa much as I do, idc it's fun and interesting. Also I can't help but love the full roundedness of the droid reprogramming coming back in a big way.
I came to a HUGELY different conclusion than you did about the gun on the roof of the school. I beleive the same type of gun is installed on the roof of the school at At-Attan... but the kids just haven't seen it yet. Hidden weaponry is on their mystery planet for whenever it is needed.
I don't think the sulfurous bog is Aldhani. Because SM-33 mentioned that, but SM-33 has been in that ship, underneath all those trees for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Or, at least, maybe it WAS that way before. It wouldn't make sense for him to say that now, because he wouldn't know what Aldhani is like now.
1) When they landed on At Achron I totally thought for a moment that we were getting some time travel shennanigans 2) After this ep. I now think that SM-33's old captain is actually the At Attin Supervisor. I think he's either a droid or some sort of hybrid like Grievous, giving him a long lifespan. They arrived on At Attin long ago, the captain maybe betrayed/killed the crew after they took over At Attin and taking the role of Supervisor, this is also somehow the reason that At Attin is the only 'surviving' jewel.
The rat has a larger part to play than we are led to believe. I also think Neil will be needing his newly learned warrior skills on other “AT” planets and maybe using the big turbo cannon to fend off bad guys back on At Atten?… just a thought.
I'm still convinced that this story is inspired by the tale of Atlantis, drawing some details from the original legend but leaning heavily into the modern mythology.
What? I assumed that the Turbo lazer cannon is on their school back on their home planet. The planets are like identical why would we not assume their school has a cannon also.
Thank you!!! they were way off on a salvaged turbo laser. this is Chekov's gun especially the way they showed how to use it. Neel will use it by the end of the season back on at attin for sure
Has anyone wondered how "Snowball" the Rat survived, at the very least decades, if not centuries, entombed in a sealed spaceship, under the ground with no food or water?
If you rewatch the first episode you can see that the ship was not completely sealed: the root system of flora had grown down into the ship. Snowball is likely just a member of an At Attin native rodent-like species that found a way in as it was scavenging around those roots.
Palpatine probably had something to do with Att-atin because he sent troops into the unknown region to explore further planets and areas to plunder them it’s just a possibility
That could also explain why there's all those old imperial helmets they repurposed on At Acchran. Doesn't seem like the inhabitants of the "At" planets got around much!
Greek mythology flows hard in star wars. That's why most of my characters in SWTOR have mythology naming. My main DPS Merc was named Kcharon. The ferryman who transported the souls on the river Acheron. Had to play with the name but it was perfect for a Merc in SWTOR. Haven't logged in that game for awhile now but was top parse Merc on my server for a little bit.

“Adults are way too trusting” is the most bizarre take ever - given that Strix has just kidnapped them to be child soldiers and now they’re happily returning to Jod who they already know and has rescued them at least twice.
Okay the headless statue is the same figure which all the figures turn to in the founding fathers mural on At Attain. They are the supervisors on each of the planets. The Supervisor on at attain was the same species as Neil. The reason it survived was that supervisor tended towards piece The reason they are all assigned jobs is to keep them busy so they don't rebel. The safety druids are their as prison guards to keep order ( like the empire). The planets are all experiments in creating utopian societies. Kept isolated to prevent contamination of the experiment. No "Safety droids" are present on the destroyed mirror planet. The other planets either fell through rebellion or were destroyed. Another thing I'd say is in the founding father mural the figure on the right is turned away where from the others a fracture, where all the other founders are turning to the one on the left celebrating him are leader. The last thing I note is each episode has been built around a member of the skeleton crew as protagonist. Building their storeys.
The squeal I let out when I saw Nino Quincampoix from Amelie leading the French resistance of Star Wars! Love his look in this episode, he did such a great job.
My favourite part of this ep was Jod diving and falling to the floor when pressing SM-33’s off switch. Like, there was no reason at all to dive there, he could have just pressed the button while still standing 😂
People didn't bite gold because gold is soft (although it is relatively soft for a metal). Try and bite a piece of gold. You are losing teeth before you are making a dent. They bite it because gold is heavy, and people would mix it with lead to make their money go further. I don't recommend you bite lead, but it's way softer than gold and you can leave a mark very easily.
I just want to point this out, they can use the coordinates of the other planets to go to them and see if they have At-Attann’s coordinates in their corresponding room.

The canon on the roof seems to be implemented into the building. So i guess the school on AtAttin has one too. I'm sure it will come in hand when the pirates attack AtAttin. I guess the name AtAttin can also come from the goddess Athena and Athens, the capital of the greek alliance in classic times. It was also famous for the wisdom of its inhabitants. Maybe AtAttin is something like Asimovs Foundation, founded to protect knowledge through rough times?

I really believe that Jod didn't trade the gold for those animals like the stories. Instead, he kept the gold, and he uses Jedi force to take out all those warriors.
I never bought into the theory that At-Attin was a secret financial capital for the First Order or the Sith, but I do have a feeling the original captain discovered the treasure on At-Attin wasn't gold, or credits, but peace and tranquility - so he wanted to keep it hidden. 33's captain is Wim's dad. He was more concerned they left the barrier than leaving the planet. The face he gave in the second episode tells me all I need to know. Also Silvo knows him for sure.
it really makes me wonder if the empire discovered some of the planets and destroyed them for what ever reason, because the level of destruction is almost on par with a orbital bombardment and the fact the hatten and trocki uses what looks like imperial army helmets would prove that either the empire at one point came across those planets and decided to nuke em after they probably rebelled against the ground forces such as imperial army troopers. or outsiders traded old imperial helmets and equipment with some hides or other valuable things the hatten and trocki had. but there no doubt that those helmets were imperial in nature but how they came to get them is a question worth an answer.

Yes indeed.
The supposed "Supervisor" of At Attin is really giving me Wizard of Oz esque "man behind the curtain" vibes.
It also has alot of fall out vault vibes with the overseer
I had a similar thought myself i think too much time has past for it to be the previous captain also the ship wasnt buried it crashed upside down.
Oh same here. I wouldn't be surprised if The Supervisor is indeed the captain and using the inhabitants of At Attin to mine precious metals for him.
I have a feeling the old captain was hired by the At Attin supervisor to destroy any records of it's location in exchange for a life in paradise. Then the supervisor used At Attin's turrets and droids to take out the captain when he returned.

"The green species" which looks to me like a large version of Dominar Rygel XVI from Farscape.
Looking good in that shirt my brother!
Neel solos everyone
it really makes me wonder if the empire discovered some of the planets and destroyed them for what ever reason, because the level of destruction is almost on par with a orbital bombardment and the fact the hatten and trocki uses what looks like imperial army helmets would prove that either the empire at one point came across those planets and decided to nuke em after they probably rebelled against the ground forces such as imperial army troopers.
or
outsiders traded old imperial helmets and equipment with some hides or other valuable things the hatten and trocki had.
but there no doubt that those helmets were imperial in nature but how they came to get them is a question worth an answer.
6:45 I’d also like to point out, the evil cat that’s the leader of the movie cats vs dogs is also named snowball
