    I'm not sure if you have the one with the touchpad, but if you do, you can mouse over the graph, hit ctrl+center button, and it will activate a grab, and then you can just mouse around on the track pad to rotate it a lot faster than just clicking the arrow keys a bunch of times.

    Very nice calculator, I just bought it today, it's a lot better than my TI 84+ I used before on school. This one is also accepted at exams so it's way better :-) Thanks for this vid i'll try this

    It quick add a page you can just click ctrl then doc :) and also one you have the graph you can so hit A and it will auto rotate for you and you and go up/down while it's going :)

    Very cool. I didn't know how to do this.
    You know you can use the cursor click it a few times on the graph and it will allow you to move the box.

    Lopes736 My opinion is that Ti-Nspire CAS CX is best on market currently. PLUS free upgrades and the service dept is GREAT. just my opinion. CHEERS

    Hi folks. I have a little question that probably another ones have...
    Someone knows if it's possible to draw vector in graphics? Vectors or just points in the Cartesian plane...
    I discovered how I can calculate the vectors... But I would like to draw it...

    yes it does when your in the 3d graph click menu, 3d graph entry/edit and your options then are function and parametric

    Thanks for the video. Is there a way to enter a 3d equation, including z, like 2x+3y+4z. I'm studying solutions of equations and this would be helpful to graph 2, 3, etc variable equations. Thanks. Jerry Shepherd

    While in the graphing screen hit ctrl and r it will rotate the graph vert or/and horizontal

    Lopes736 I like the CAS CX. They even give you free OS upgrades. Sevice dept at Texas Instruments is great

    can I graph more than two variable? like say, x^2+y^3-z^2=f(x,y,z)??

    Yeah, but unfortunately all I've been able to do is graph equations in terms of z. Right now I'm doing mostly vectors so it'd be nice to visually see where planes intersect. Also I've been give a lot of hyperboloids and other such shapes in other forms other than f(x,y).

    Hello, can you please help me? I got my handheld but when I click the view option, the 3d graph is not available. Any idea how can I fix it? I have a 3.0 version.

      I always update to the newest version, using ti.com. As a last option call 1800ticares (seriously) they will help up with step-by-step support. I feel bad that I cannot help more. It is difficult with seeing your calculator. Please consider calling the support line. let me know what happens,

    You can do the same thing on the original TI-Nspire (no CAS, no CX) just in black and white.

    Correction. I just can't graph equations like z=cos(xy) Strangely z=cos(xyln(y)) works

      +Redice you may have to separate x and y with a multiplication sign. CAS sometimes reads xy as a distinct variable

    Hi! Is it possible to graph a vertical plane? like x=1 or y=3? I don't know how to convert those into z(x,y)

      Yes go from graphing to menu find equations go to line and select x=c. Fill in your value for c

    So I ran this on my TI-Nspire CAS app and got a different image for the second function z2(x,y)=sin(x)+y2. Your image has some waves at the bottom of the image but mine shows flat at the bottom. Why is that?

      So I went to the Graphs and Geometry settings. I thought maybe I had made some changes so I tapped on the Restore [settings] button and one thing I noticed that changed is that it went back to radians. That made it look like yours. Very interesting difference. Thanks!

      +Desi Badillo you can go to 3d graphing. from the graph screen hit view and check 3d, or you could try to go to menu equation. You only have two variables so your graph will not appear 3d.

      +Desi Badillo z = f(x,y) it is the same thing. so you solve for z. z = 4-y^2 is the same as f(x,y) = 4-y^2

    unfortunately CAS has all the bells and whistles. The good news is you can get an older CAS really cheap, update the OS and it will do all the functions of the CAS CX Keep me posted Gewoonwijnand

      Mingxiang Guan Messing around with the calculator in 3D Graphing, I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a way to graph that with y= whatever. Since it’s Z1 (x,y) = (your equation) you can’t do y=.

    I wish you can rotate right away instead of going to actions and selecting the rotating option. This wastes time and is annoying to a degree. Why wouldn't someone want to rotate a 3d graph the moment they graph it?
