I'm a massage therapist in Denmark. and let me tell you that you teach me so much! so much more than I ever did during the course o took to become a massage therapist ! I really appreciate your videos. you definitely know what you're talking about , and I am not questioning anything you say. I hope you will keep uploading videos. one thing I would like was for you to make a video on how to get those calves go loosen up. I deal with a lot of runners , and especially the medial side of the calves seem to be a trouble point. any advise ? perhaps a video on that topic ?
Thanks for the love man Kevin!!!! I appreciate your comment! Yes, more videos will keep coming. It is an honor to help inspire others like yourself, and I am so thankful you appreciate my work! I will defintiely make a video especially for you!!!!! Stay tuned!
You have some of the best PT videos I’ve ever seen. Most informative and educational ones around. Please keep the videos coming. You deserve a ton more followers.
This video is gold. I'm a LMT student and we're currently doing our Trigger Point course and this is one of the most helpful resources I've found yet. Thank you so much for this! Do you have any text or online resources that you'd recommend to dive into Trigger Point theory further?
Hello, sir. when compared these instruments, which instrument is more effective in these instruments. Which material you prefer first for trigger points and muscle spasms.
Thanks James!!!!! Percussion massagers actually create a pulse in the tissue and have a deeper penetration depth. Generally they are more effective, more expensive, and they are a bit more uncomfortable. Vibration massagers, are basically just vibration, could help with blood flow and feeling better, but they wont hit as deep....If your an athlete, or a clinician, percussion is the way to go....especially if its adjustable, it can cover both grounds....
I got this in my pec minor And abdomen from too much bad posture phone use I wish they were anywhere else on my body because my mind can’t stop freaking out because there’s a lot of important organs there obviously
Its called IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.) I teach certifications in this through RockTape. Its called FMT Blades and Blades Advanced. You can sign up for a webcast on rocktape.com/education. Right now, training is 50% off!
I would love if you can do a video for writs injuries, I know you work with sportsmen/women but people who spend lots of time in front of screen has a lot of wrist issues that goes up to elbow, I have a spot near my elbow always sore.
Hi I think I am having the movement issues with my shoulder and my shoulder blade is piping out. I've been going to physio for 8 weeks now and can't see any difference. Any suggestions or help please ?
Trigger points are the knots in the muscle!!! Like I said in the video, not actually a knot, just "feels tight" and is that dense point in the tissue. AKA Trigger points!
cihidalgo thanks for the compliment!!! I do not know anyone personally there. But check the "mobility wod list". Practitioners on there are vetted and may have a similar approach. Good luck!!!! Mwod.com

Great video! What is the difference between a vibration massager and percussion massager on a neuro and physiological perspective. Thanks!
