The new ending is so much better than the original. Forgiving a ghost was one of the most righteous things Pac-Man has ever done
it's not Pac man without the ghosts, i think it's good that they get what they deserved: a redemption and recognition

There is actually a bad ending to this game if you didn’t save all of Pac-Man’s Family. Not only will there be Pac-Man that uses the power pellet to eat Orson (Yes that’s the ghost’s name), but all the family members that are still in the cage gets freed by the ghosts and the party in the ending will not have ghosts.
That is the ending from the original, actually.

Why was the original confusing?
Since I'm bored, here's how every boss has changed from the Original
-HMS Windbag (now just Windbag) has an updated path for the escape sequence. The theme for the actual fight seems to be different (though I can't place it), and now has 2 phases. Phase 1 only has 3 buttons, and phase 2 has 5. Not much if anything has changed.
-Anubis Rex (now just Anubis) has a slightly shorter chase sequence, but with more traps like lava pits and gates to impede progress. The fight itself was also restructured, as the rev-plates are no longer lone platforms but crumble as the battle progresses. It now has two Fireball attacks, one where it sends balls from the lava and one where it fires from the mouth. The Laser attack now aims at a singular point instead of sweeping the ground. Still difficult but nowhere near as stressful.
-King Galaxian retains most of his attacks from the original with new ones. You're no longer required to kill the galaxian mooks to proceed between phases, but he has a new sub-phase where you must attack the tail as it shoots at you while said mooks fire at you. Furthermore, when he's in his main phase, he can also use claw attacks that cover a sizable portion of the screen.
-The Clown Prix is now in 1st person, and has been updated massively. Boosts are now tied to the meter, while Power Pellets let you bump away other racers.
-Krome Keeper has been fully reworked. Now, instead of using the metal power up to hit switches and drop boxes, you're reving into him while dodging claws, missiles, lasers, and more. It seems to be based off old concept art for the fight.
-Toc Man has seen a massive overhaul. Phase 1 starts with him ramming into you before shooting at you with finger guns, rather than throwing exploding dots. Phase 2 sees him become metal, his butt bounce shockwaves go a longer distance, and he has a new barrage attack; instead of magnetizing him to the center, you must grab a metal pellet and Roll into him. In the final phase, he grows giant and causes shockwaves with each step, as well as perform the spiral rev roll from the original. Throw pellets at his feet to topple him, then bounce on his head.
Honestly I think they're all positive changes.
Also each of the main bosses besides clown racers and tocman gains a new attack once they reach a certain health piont the 1st three do it at half while krome Keeper is special, windbag gains a cannonball sweep, Anubis Rex gains tornados, king galaxian gains a sweeping claw, and krome keeper gains both missiles and Anubis’ old laser beam, once it reaches 2/3rds and 1/3rds of its health.
In your opinion is Anubis a bit easier and Galaxian harder ?
They have become much harder.
@@p6mkq Yeah. Anubis is a lot easier due to the platforms being connected and the attacks being far better telegraphed, though the Lava is still instant death and restart if you aren't careful.
King Galaxian is about the same difficulty-wise, as its bullets are far more predictable but more numerous. Also, while it has claws in both versions, he actually uses them for attacks in the remake.
I love how they added a new ending where Pac-man forgives Orson(the ghost that runs Toc-man). In the original (and apparently in a bad ending for this game) Pac-man uses a super pellet to eat Orson instead of forgiving the ghost!
I would eat it to, I mean he captures your family, your friends and try to kill you severals time.
Pac-Man Forgiving A Ghost Is Just One Of The Most Adorable Things I've Ever Seen In His Series
And that’s why Pac-Man and Orson are still friends in Pac-Man World 3.

What sucks is that Pacman didnt fo a lil dance after "Mummy Escape" Level like in the Original
Pac-Man might have forgiven Orson at the end of the old school game but he was like you still have to pay for what you've done, so he chomped him.
Now that I think of it,the good ending is actually the most that makes sense because of pacman world three,where Orson,the one controlling toc-man,is his friend
Kinda sad they didn't have voice acting, but the game looks really nice.
Also good to see they made Anubis less bullshit than the original.
Ooh and I really like how they reworked Krome Keeper, and King Galaxian was pretty neat.

Ah yes,.. The Nostalgia of seeing this Game get a Remake! Finished this Game on PS1 on my Childhood Days. I was one's scared of the Mummy Stages! My most favourite was the Space Stages! What i seem to differentiate between the OG Version and the Remake is that the Bosses looks much easier and less Scary!

@@solarguard7301 Yup, can confirm, my brother never finish this fight, because the spinning platform used to "open" the heart don't stay active for long in the OG. The last quarter of live was a "do a perfect run or retry".

At first I was skeptical on the new design for Toc-Man, but I've actually grown real fond of this adaptation of the character

I may be nitpicky... but while the game looks great on all other aspects, the audio department really seem to suffer in this one.
No cheesy voice acting like in the original,
Audio seems to be missing in some cutscenes and some sound effects might need more OOMPH.
Other than that, i'm happy that this exists.

Not only did they nerf the bosses to be more fair but they made the Clown Racers “fight” in first-person which makes their fight that I hated in the original way better and actually fun

Anybody remember Scaler? Remember the aerial dogfight with the giant monster? Now I'm wondering if Galaxian inspired that because man fighting them in this game gave me some many memories from that fight.

Just beat the game(GOOD END), it was my 1st Pac-Man World game and I would say the gameplay is really smooth for a platform game like that!

The only Thing that the Original is better at than the Remake are the Cutscenes.
That's most people's reactions, yea
This is another overblown criticism me and my twin bro are seeing in this remake, while everything else is good; the cutscenes to mostly everyone that played this Second Remake (First Remake is the GBA ver.) is what make them go to hot water. I get it, cutscenes bad + ratio + we all fall off, but even then; this Second Remake fixes ALOT of the problems in the OG game like the missing content for example, along fixing the difficulty of the Bosses, making them challenging but fair (Re Pac Krome Kepper is atleast alot more chaotic & fun than his OG boring and tedious fight). Hopefully Exo can make a ROR Revisit and point out this specific criticism and imply facts to it (Conker: Live & Reloaded suffered a overblown criticism of its own being the censorship like have you seen the cutscenes being more brutal in the Xbox Remake people, oh no wait, you only care for the swearing instead).
