Big Ben is the heart of the Steelers. When he retires he will be greatly missed. There is only one Big Ben. One of the Greatest Pittsburgh Steelers. Next stop Canton,OH.
If he retires now he has the entire year not just the off-season to pay off his underage victums to settle in court instead of getting charged yea what a great guy!!!
Sometimes there comes a time in a football player's life where he has the time to retire after a long year's work, and put his family before himself. Andrew Luck who retired this year of 2019, made the right decision to hang up his cleats, and realized that his health is more important than just keep getting himself injured too many times throughout his career for the past several years. Although, you have to give the Steelers praise and respect for how long Ben is going to announce his retirement once he retires. John Elway, Dan Marino, Terry Bradshaw, Brett Favre, Roger Staubach, Joe Namath, Kurt Warner, Troy Aikman, and Joe Montana were always, and always will be the greatest Hall of Fame quarterbacks to have always ever lived up to their expectations, and had great years playing for their teams in the past.
@@calebsawyer0719 Caleb you're so right, I guess with the current situation in Pittsburgh like most Steelers Fans we tend to be kinda selfish. You make a very great point though. Thanx for the reminder Bro!
For all his amazing plays, and records he's broke, 3 super bowls 2 wins and 1 loss. played with broken bones.not to mention a ton of post season wins. He is always under rated. He is an elite QB, but hardly ever gets the props that he deserves.
@@DTB1995 More talented than both of them. They are simple pocket passers. Big Ben is the greatest play maker of this century. While Ben was winning 13 straight games as a raw rookie thrown into the fire without prep, Brady held a clip board his 1st year. Brees was irrelevant his 1st 3 years and in the last 3/4 of his career has played more than half his games indoors.
@@DTB1995 its not that bold of a statement, think about it for a second and break it down: Big Ben is tied with his hero John Elway (ironically at 7th place) for most 4th quarter come back wins of all time. Putting him in the top 10 most clutch QB's to ever play the game. He used to be very mobile. Not Michael Vick mobile but if he needed to run for a first down, the team and the fans had the confidence in him to get there and get it with his feet alone. He arguably was and is the strongest QB to ever play the game. He could shake off multiple defenders with his strength alone, have the mobility to run and extend the play long enough AND have the vision to see down field and make HUGE game changing plays, most of which resulted in TDs. Not only that, he had the ability to play injured. He won his first suberbowl (still the record holder as the youngest QB to ever win a SB) with a broken thumb on his throwing hand. He also won his second SB against the Cardinals with two broken ribs. He broke every Steeler passing record in existence, and is in the top 10 statistically greatest QBs of all time in terms of passer rating and completion average (accuracy). He is also now at his age in the top ten QBs in terms of passing yards over all. Let me tell you something of ALL Qbs to EVER play the game, if there was 1:30 left to go in the game in the 4th quarter and I needed a TD to win the game, Id take Big Ben over Brady, no questions asked. Yes I know my damn QB son
Just caught this. Watch what happens to AB..... M. Bryant. S. Holmes. M. Wallace the list goes on. after this they lose, they are done. Just like Antonio Brown will be... Forgotten.
same goes with the running backs, ya some like leveon and jerome better were great, but bens arm and that oline help that game out as well. Its a team game for a reason. Thats why leveon hasnt broken 90yds in a game all season and well ab is in the psych ward.
Big Ben gets two back to back games with 6 td's yet all you hear about is Brady, Brees and Rodger's and how great they are. Ben never gets the recognition of greatness that he deserves. SteelerNation loves you Ben and we appreciate you❤💛💛
Thank you Art Rooney ll for pushing Bill Cowher to draft Ben Roethlisberger. Bill was going to draft an offensive linemen after Philip Rivers was drafted until Art stepped in and told him to draft Big Ben.
Seeing these highlights makes me believe even stronger that his elbow has been messing with him for more than this year maybe since last year maybe even the end of the year before last, either way I hope he comes back in the most prime form that he can come back in and hopefully move us on to another sb
Ok, find or compile any Brady highlight video that does not pale in comparison to this. Not only is Ben the BEST passer to the end-zone in NFL history, he is one of the greatest, most versatile (deep, touch, pocket, on-the-run, etc) passers, period. And, he's also one of the best rushing QB's. Also keep in mind, when he's not making impossible completions to completely covered or otherwise unreachable receivers, his feet are extending plays, allowing route modifications and separations that allow for many of the seemingly easy, open completions. Again, due to his good, native football skills and disciplined obedience to Belichick, Brady deserves his very high, number 19, all-time ranking. Because of his native talents alone, Ben is number 11, and I wonder if I'm not really short-changing him (Ben, that is).
Joseph Walsh I love ben as much as the next guy. I'd say ben and Tom are about equal. What Ben has in the deep threat (also had better deep recievers), his pocket mobility and ability to throw on the run..Brady has in quick and quality decisions and accuracy on intermediate passes. Also Brady is one of the best at leading a reciever into being open in the NFL
Joseph Walsh Yeah you were wrong and biased years ago. And you still are. Talent means little to nothing. Your production is what matters. Hence why Tom Brady is way better. His stats take a dump on bens. Tds. Td to int ratio. QBR. Every stat in the book TB12 wins. Especially the greatest one wins and losses. Rodgers is better than Ben. Peyton is better. Drew Brees is arguably better.
Ben is great but brady is top 2 or 3 qbs all time. And i hate the patriots.. i am a steeler fan buy I'm not delusional. Ben is a top 7 or 10 all time qb. But not top 3.
Big Ben is the only QB to ever: (1) Win 9 career games with a passer rating of at least 150.0; (2) Pass for 6 TDs in TWO consecutive games; (3) Win with 500 yds passing & zero Int. more than once & he did it 3 times; (4) Ave. 7.0 pass Y/A in a season and start over 50% of schedule in all of his 1st 15 seasons in the NFL; (5) Finish with a winning record as a starter including at least one 4th qtr comeback in 13 of his 1st 15 seasons in the NFL.
