- What a maniac... doing 5 "race" laps with a Super Clodbuster... on tarmac 😜
Right you are, taken out of context; but this was for a french challenge (same track, 5 running laps).
So I took this opportunity to dust some of my "running" RC.
If your eyes hurts after that insane recording, there are many running videos of this Monster Truck in a fitting territory 😁
Anyway, in the following weeks, you will see other cars (mostly Tamiya) that were more "suitable" for this battle.
The Super Clodbuster was stock with a Dual Brushed ESC THW 880 (probably a clone of Hobbywing Quicrun WP 880) and a Lipo 2S. Not that it really matters as it was more for fun than for raw performance 😁

Clod Buster. The ultimate street racer! Haha! What a great video, it's nice to see the big guy turning laps on the tarmac! :)
Would be better on a beach in the Vancouver area 😆 But it's like several thousand km or miles from here 😥 👍🤝
@@coygtrc just a quick road trip and a little swim away! 😂👊🏼
Nice, I'm feeling inspired! Great video man!
Thanks 👍🤝
Awesome!!
You know that actually done far better than expected..... and fair play for not rolling it!!
That's probably twice the speed of my full metal sassy chassis clod, the thing weighs a ton..... but is a true work of art! 👍 👍 👍
Not rolling was kind of mandatory on Tarmac if I did not want to cry. I built my fair share of cars, and I found this one relatively difficult probably due to the size. I'm not into into super Monster Truck, but felt that a collection was empty without it. I do not regret (except for the space it takes) 😁🤝
Hehe, the Clod's always good for a fun run. Speed's secondary
Sure, performance is not important on this kind of machine. Still, handling is not that bad, considering I did not setup the radio (100% steering without expo, not ideal on 4WS) 🤝
Nice run! It was doing good out there and I was glad to see it stayed rubber side down!! Looking forward to seeing whatever else you run around out there, maybe something with a little lower center of gravity next time LOL!!
Thanks. As I spent many hours (and shouted many swear words) on the body, I kept everything smooth out there 😆👍🤝
Awesome run and good thing it isn't a bit faster.... Many times I rolled a Clod on tarmac, Many Clods too.... Now, same track layout in dirt but double (mirror image) and a friend with a Clod too...... This was very cool!!!!
Yep, it's trickier than we can think especially as this was not with my usual radio. I took vids of this truck on a "suitable" terrain. I cannot say coming soon... but probably still in 2024 😁
@@coygtrc However, There is something about a stock Clod just bouncing & rattling around.
